How to connect a 4 ch amp to 4 speakers and sub-woofer
I have 4 ch punch ca-640 and 2 speakers of 420watts each and 2 other of 460 watts each and one bazzoka (sub woofer) can somebody advise me on the best way of connection and regulation,, and if there are some schematic drawing thanks.

My advice would be to connect the front speakers and the sub woofer to the amplifier and run the remaining rear 2 speakers from the headunit. This way you dont stress the amplifier to run on two different loads at the same time and still maintane control over your system. Bridge your sub woofer on chanel 3&4 and do not forget to set the LPF for chanel 3&4. If your speakers are not components in the front set the HPF on chanel 1&2 to roughly 60 to 80 Htz.
hi, Do you mean sub woofer. Then you can select any brands Active sub woofer ( active means built in amplifier) to connect with your system. They comes in different power (watts). you can use an active sub woofer with 100W output. connect the sub woofer pre out of you amp to the pre input of sub woofer. ok
You cant bridge it to the MONO AMP . You can only bridge subs & speakers to 2 CH & 4 CH AMPS that are bridgeable. Because if it appears that there is 2 channels on a Mono amp its so its convenient for you to hook up 2 4ohm subs to it easily But both channels are actually connect internally together in parallel inside the amp unlike a 2 channel they are separate.
So just connect your mtx 9500 to a plus and a minus and doesnt matter which since all the + terminals of are connected together and - are connected together already.
Whats important is on the side of the sub/box it reads 2 ohms. The lower the ohms the more power the Mono amp will put out. Mono amps are designed to handle 2ohm loads.
If it reads 4ohms The MONO amp is the wrong amp to use cause the power will be weaker. So if you have a 1000 Watt Mono amp at 4ohms the sub will only get 500 WATTS Max while a 2 ohm will get the full 1000 Watts.
If it reads 4 ohms connect it to a 2CHANNEL AMP and BRIDGE IT (connect + of the sub to 1st channels positive of the amp then connect - of the sub to 2nd channels negative of the amp) . The power will be doubled when you bridge it on a 2 channel amp. NOW if it was a 2 ohm sub and you bridged it to the 2 channel amp it will fry the subs and ruin the amp. 2 CHANNELS CANT TAKE A 2OHM LOAD BRIDGED OK.
This amp is rated at 500 watts into a 4 ohm load bridged mono or 250 watts x 2 into 2 ohm load stereo. Do not go below that impedance in either case. The amp was meant to dissipate a certain amount of power, driving it to hard will lead to damage. Your speakers look like they are dual voice coils @ 4 ohms each. To get the max power while still saving your subs would be to parallel the voice coils on each woofer then run them in stereo with your amp. Stereo 2 ohm is 250 watts per speaker.
A single 4 ohm speaker wired to each channel, like you have them wired, presents a 4 ohm load. And it appears that you have them connected properly. The 401s is only stable to 4 ohms when bridged, so if you were to parallel the 2 4 ohm subs in bridged mode, the load would be 2 ohms and the amp would most likely overheat and go into protection.
I'd wire them the way you have them wired.
Each channel of the amp outputs only 100 watts into 4 ohms. That is adequate for regular full-range speakers, component speakers, mid-range drivers, and even some small subs. But it is a little low on power for most subwoofer applications.
In general, there are two ways to hook up your sub-woofer. First using the high level outputs from your receiver ( speaker output from the front R & L speaker terminals ) run a set of wires from the outputs to the speaker inputs on the sub-woofer, you do this in concert with the speaker wires going to the front R & L speakers which you then attach to the R & L speaker outputs on the sub woofer amp. Note that the sub woofer doesn't power your front speakers, the connections from the sub amp are just a pass through connection where the signal needed by the sub is parasitically taken from the inputs. Second is via a low level output from your receiver / amp to the low level input on your sub amp. This is normally done via a RCA type of patch cable and connected to the sub woofer RCA jack on the rear of the source receiver or amp, Next run the patch cord to the sub amp an into the RCA jack input. IF you have a right and left input, use the Right input.
if you wanted to use your receiver as your controller and source then try to find out the receivber has got a bridge (jumper) between the pre-amp stage and the power amp stage. if your receiver does not have that, then you can just connect your receiver tape record out to one of your DSP inputs. subwoofers, the DSP has got a sub woofer out connector. you can use that (RCA type) to your sub woofers. put in series because DSP has got only one output for sub. or, you can connect your subs directly to the mains speakers, parallel connections. maybe one sub to your left and the other to your right channel.
