Question about Samsung YP-K3 MP3 Player
Here's the deal. I got my Samsung a few days ago from my cousin second hand but he doesn't have the software. Now I tried to turn it on when I got it but it wouldn't so I figured it needed to be charged. Well I connected it to my computer and the whole thing lit up but I noticed that it said it was locked. I tried moving the lil' button on the side of it but it doesn't work at all. When I disconnect it from the charger/USB cable it shuts off and will NOT turn on. Will somebody please tell me what the problem is?
I just posted my problem (KEMR) that it would not turn on or charge and then i went to another site and read that pressing the reset buttom(little hole on the back at the bottom) might help and now it's working again perfectly hope this helps

Use a tooth pick to reset.
This happend to mine, the slider switch on mine was in the wrong place, resulting in saying its locked, take apart the mp3 player and put the slider back where it goes and it should work, (worked for me) make sure u watch out for the wires holding the front to the back, its hard to do but ive done alot of this stuff so just be careful. mine was pretty beaten up but still worked. hope this helps

SOURCE: My Samsung will not turn on
reset it by pushing the "menu" button and "a/b" button at the same time for a few seconds then try turning it on...I tried this with mine when it was unresponsive and it worked.
