This is too common a problem with these units. Mine was plugged in the air gap, but you might not have one. I have written a guide to help folks out with it. Find it here.

Make sure one part of your drain hose is at least 19 inches off of the ground. This will help create a siphon effect and drain the water out. I actually put a complete loop in mine and it solved the problem.

Try cleaning out the drain line behind the dishwasher, this is a very common problem with draining. If not that then might need a valve or if you have a new garbage disposal you need to punch out a peice of the plastic or it wont drain. Hope this helped, good luck

Bosch classixx dishwasher sgs43c12 not draining.

The only way to eliminate a pump issue is to actually remove the pump and check it internally, it doesn't take much to block them and also the impellers can come loose, It sound like you are handy with tools so i suggest removing the drain pump and while it's off check the hoses that run to and from the pump for obstructions and make sure the impeller is not loose.

One year old Maytag refrigerator with bottom freezer. We noticed recently that water accumulates and freezes at the bottom of the freezer under the basket. We don't notice it then when there is enough...

The drain to the bottom is plugged. you will need to completely defrost the unit. The way I do this is to take all the frozen food out and either put into a different freezer or pack all the frozen food real tight in a cooler then use a hair dryer (under constant supervision) to melt all the ice in the bottom. use towels to soak up all the water. after all the ice is melted you should be able to see the drain. this is where the melted ice drains when the unit goes into the defrost cycle. I have used some small amount of hot tap water to clear the drain and once in a while you need to actually push something thru the tube(compressed air or flexable wire) to clear out a blockage (paper, small piece of food or chunk of ice).. Be extra carefull not to crack the plastic with anything sharp or by using to much force. Once the tap water goes down into the very bottom (thru the drain tube into the catch pan) then the ice won't form as the defrost cycle will put the water clear down to the catch pan. sometimes even a scumy mold build up will block the drain. Get the drain as clean as possible and you may need to keep an eye on it so it doesn't become blocked again. After you clear the drain close the freezer and let it cool down before you put the frozen food back into the freezer.

The water is not draining away. Hotpoint WD63

filter is located at the bottom rear of the appliance... if its pump obstruction then to lay the drain hose into a bowl is a means of getting the water out manually.. if its a blockage and water wont drain this way then lay the unit down on its R/H side (not soap dispenser side)....then acces to the filter can be made without flooding the place..best if 2 persons were to do this as the machine can be heavy when full with water and clothes.. best of luck..

Water pools in bottom of fridge: no obvious leak from above?...

There is likely a clog in the drain system which drains off the water produced during the defrost cycle. This water should flow into a catch basin in the rear of the refrigerator body and then into tubing which drains it into a pan underneath the refrigerator. Heat from the refrigerant coils then evaporates the water.

You should be able to see plastic tubing at the rear of the refrigerator. You can pull these loose (usually) and blow into them to see if there is a blockage. If the blockage is upstream of the tubing, you will likely have to remove the rear panel from inside the refrigerator and try to figure out what is causing the blockage. All kinds of debris can get into the drainage system and stop things up.

a few things to check, first off is adequate water supply(obviously).. next check your drain system, if your unit gravity drains look for a blockage, but if you have a secondary drain pump to pump away water check for proper operation, if that pump fails the machine will no longer let water in( thinks it full and no need to produce more ice if it cant get rid of old water

Water not draing away and machine is not spinning

Empty your machine manually by lowering the drain hose into a bowl or bucket. Then remove the kick plate and check the filter for blockages. Before replacing try the machine on drain to see if the pump is running, if problem persists there may be a blockage in the pipe from the drum to the pump.
