Question about Xerox CopyCentre C128 Black and White Copier
U-2 codes on Xerox machines are related to the IIT (scan) carriage timing/sensing. Disconnect power..remove platen glass, carefully move the scan carriage up and down its normal range,check for binding,catching. Check the drive cables are on the pulleys correctly. Inspect the timing sensors, especially at the start of scan, check that they are in place and that the "flag" on the scan carriage passes thru them properly.
