SOURCE: water leaking from front right corner - not hoses

The leak is coming from the area of the drain pump, but you will need to remove the lower toe panel directly below the door to sufficiently inspect where the leak may be coming from. The access screws are located under the bottom front edge of the panel. With the screws removed, the panel will drop down, then come off. The following link explains what to look for:

Make sure you check all hose connections on the drain pump and make sure the drain pump reservior cap (if equipped) is on tight. If you have any questions, please post back with your MODEL NUMBER and let me know. I hope this helps you.

Hello ! I have the LG wm2277hs washer machine. the problem that we are having right now is the water leaked after washing. Pleaase show me how to trouble shoot that, thanks

Hi

The water leaking on floor can be a serious issue as this may cause the inside parts to malfunction or in some cases rusting of the body. To check where exactly it is leaking; inspect the leak while it is running. After the cycle is complete quickly turn off the power, lie down the machine on left/right side and check from where the water is leaking. If it is the hose or drain pump then check whether hose is connected firmly and is not cut. If it not the hose/pump inspect if the leak is on the drum corner or anywhere back of the drum. However, if it is leaking from the circumference then it is due to transmission seal. To replace the transmission seal you'll need to disassemble the washer and the drum assembly.

Please post back in case of any issues. Hope this helps...

Hoover Dishwasher HD95M leaks on start up from bottom right front corner. Leaks when initially being fed from water feed.

Water leaking can be poor plumbing or fault in the inlet hose connection. You are the first observer and so your view on the leak area is important as the leak can be from the hose, from the inlet, the hose or the washer unit.
Based on this the water leak can be plugged, tighten the hose clips, check the inlet filter or check the washer's feed line.

Water leaking onto the floor

Hi,

hat leak may not be in the machine. It may be one of the hoses going into it. Look to find out where the water is actually coming from. If it is a hose from the faucet behind the machine, the hose can easily be replaced at a low cost. If it is only leaking with hot water, check the water inlet valve at the rear of machine where the hoses connect, top left rear facing it. If it is leaking and running down the left side, it is the wrong side for the pump unless it running across the floor and out the left side. If it were the hose, it would leak all the time. It sounds like the hot side has gone bad on the inlet valve. You can save several dollars by fixing this yourself.

Tilt it back and look for two screws, near each corner on the bottom front. Remove these screws and pull the bottom toward you. It should lift off the clips on top. Run the machine carefully, moving parts and see if the leak is actually coming from the left rear and from somewhere up high. First try cold water, then hot. If it leaks on one and not the other, then it is the valve. Be sure to unplug the machine if you decide to change this part. Also you might want to mark where the wires go back to be sure you do not reverse the hot and cold water, as well as fittings and connections. The water leakage evidence should be visible. If not, wash a load and watch for where water leakage occurs. Just look. Do not touch since there will be electrical current supplied.

Hope i helped you.

Water Everywhere

Look for loose, cracked, pinched, broken hoses to and from the water pump or leaks from the water pump itself. The outer drum could have a rust-through that leaks. This can be repaired with epoxy, but the inner drum must be removed to access it. The cabinet top is opened by using a putty knife or similar tool to push straight back under each front corner which releases a spring latch. Sometimes, the drain hose outlet is pushed from the house drain by high water flow. Tie the hose to the drain with tape or cord. Fill the tub with water, then stop the cycle and watch for leaks.

Water Leaks from beneath my washing machine

Our WM2077CW just started the water leaking from underneath. We unplugged the electrical cord and disconnected the hoses (water, drain). We then removed the inspection plate from the back and checked for wet hoses. The big black hose on the bottom was a little wet. On careful examination we found a small hole that looked like a material fatigue failure at the point where the accordion part of the hose met with the solid part of the hose near the main drum connection. I suspect this is may occur in other LG washers of the same design. Unless your floor is perfectly level it's hard to tell whether coming from the left or right side really indicates where underneath the water is coming from.
