mY SONY VAIO VGN-N250E DOES NOT POWER ON, ITS PLUGGED IN AND IT DOES NOT TURN ON AND NO LIGHTS TURN ON

Wizdid you charge it for 24hrs prior to using it? usually when you purchase a new laptop the battery has 10% life and its recommended that you charge it for 24hrs before using it so that the battery has a chance to break in.

if that doesen't work then i would suggest that you use your warranty that you got and get a new battery because you did buy it right?
