You probably have a power switch board failure or connection problem. Where the battery connects to the PSP clean that with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol. Also see what you can do about cleaning the battery connectors the same way. If that doesnot fix it, you may have a cirucit problem inside. Click on the "Repair Directory" at the bottom of this screen. In the directory click on "Video Game Consoles" check with the repair shops that Fix Playstations to find a good deal on fixing it. dont do it yourself you may brick your psp.. just consult a psp expert for that.. a brick psp means dead psp..

no you should use a computer an dplug it in to it and then an orange light should come on then just leave it there for a few hours untill the light turns green
