The auto shut off does not turn the shredder off after the sheet has run through. Turning the unit off and back to auto and the unit will turn off properly.

if you answer no to the following question, then I do know your solution: Q: When you unplug the unit immediately after your action of "When those paper complete the shredder does not turn off."...and then plug it back in, does the shredder STILL continue to operate? if no, then the solution is to disassemble the feeder unit and manually unclog the paper sensor.

ok " if the ready light did not come on it's telling you that there is no power sound like the plug in transformer is no good .

you can check that transformer , with a multimeter, see if you have the right voltage.
