The wire you are talking about, I think is the receiver wire, it should be unplugged at the receiver, not the speed controller, and of course, with that being said, the new one does have that wire on it. Hope this helps.

Why are my power door locks clicking on and off while I'm driving?

The door lock control module is getting wet in the door. It happened in mine, and I had to replace it. Eventually it will start locking down the engine most likely because it will think it is being stolen.

not that this is going to really help your overall problem but I can tell you that smelling antifreeze in the cabin and if the foormats are wet in the front then it is probably your heater core that has sprung a leak. Think of your heater core as a mini radiator but inside the vehicle and they are usually tucked up inside the dash somewhere and is usually quite expensive to have repaired because of all the labor involved. I just replaced mine in my 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis and it took me about 10 hours to change out. And i am a mechanic. As for your electrical problems I would personally contact the dealership and as them about recalls or technical bulletins concerning your 2003 GMC Yukon xl denali. Good Luck.

Ez set button

The set button has a tendency to get stuck, try blow pressurised air around the button that might help. Else you have to disassemble the esc to get the dirt out, but you probably won't do that to a brand new esc.

I just got a traxxas stampede in dec. i have used it about ten times and now i am having issues when i go to turn it on the green light on the esc comes on and then goes to red and then the light goes off...

make sure ur batteries are fully charged and ur using the right ones for ur model reset ur transmitter to factory default, it sounds like the esc is detecting something wrong when u go to use it bad battery if its a lipo may have ran it to long which can mess them up, I would clean the button on the esc really good, if the truck is making that noise the esc will try to shut down the system if all else fails send in ur esc to traxxas and they will send u a new one for like $50 buck let me know if u get it going

Try to only hold the button down for a half of a second. If you hold it longer it will go into profile selection mode.

My RC Traxxas Stampede stop working. The steering

Spin the rear wheels and make sure nothing such as a small stone is binding something up in the driveline. Check to make sure the motor has not gotten disconnected from the ESC. If you still have problems with it post again and I will try to look further into it.

I have a xl-5, a exposed negative wire keeps wrecking motors

You need to either replace the lead or put some shrink wrap on the exposed wire. The short on the heatsink is definitely causing a problem.

02 yukon denali xl wont start, i replaced battery, alternaor and starter are both good truck still wont start

Did you try to replace the starter cable? is the Truck turning over or just clicking.? If it's turning over and not starting. Best guess would be one of two things. Knock sensors Located under intake manifold. they get wet and deteriorate or the fuel pump. I've replaced all three on mine. 233k still running strong...
