Question about Samsung LN-S2651D 26 in. LCD Television

Volume stops working then starts again then goes out again.

The volume will be workning fine then will stop for a while, come back then go through the cycle intermitently.

I would guess you have a failure of the sound amp or sound processor Ic, located on the main board.
The two smaller Ic's at the bottom-center of this photo are the audio processor and audio amp...

I can send you a service manual if you like. It isn't a difficult task to replace this board, and the manual will give you teardown instructions. From there just order the new one and install it. If on the oter hand any of this seems like a foreign language take it to a professional.

I suppose the problem of your unit is memory, sometimes this problem can be fix by applying service mode, but if not, then memory should be replace and I would advise you to send your unit to service center.

Hi I have Prima lv 3228p tv and there is no volume it was working fine yesterday andtoday no volume

prima lv-3228p lcd tv-after 15 mins of play the screen goes funny and there is still volume but the remote will not function. you cannot even shut the unit off, only by disconnecting the power supply. If you wait 15 -20 mins and plug the unit back in it will work for approx 15 mins again- then it will start acting up again?/

What you got here is common. The issue is the controller under the volume and channel and power butoons, This is defective!! your going to need to have the tv serviced. this part cost $75-90 bucks the labor may vary in your area. I have a 46 inch polaroid lcd tv that when you turn it on everything is fine but after about a minute it starts making a loud squealing noise,even if you mute it, but it will stop after about 15-20...

my 46'' inch tv polaroid lcd has been working fine for 3 years. today my wife and I noticed the tv is shutting off the screen will go black and the power light does switch to red. you can here something inside the t.v clicking but you can turn it on and it will start back fine for 20 minutes then shut off again? Does anybody know whats going out on the tv? let me know

may have a sticky button or a shorted transistor switch.
