On starting the Xerox it says Fault/Error A fault has occurred. Switch the machine Off and then On. If the problem persists, call for service. 116-201 I switched it on and off a couple of times, but it still doesn't work.

The problem description is: Fault Code 116-201: HDD Was Not Booted Due to an HDD Error Detected on Booting. Try this link first: http://www.support.xerox.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?St=387,E=0000000005750000208,K=9799,Sxi=3,Solution=obj(542)

If this does not work. Unplug the machine from the wall while still on
do not power down first. treat it like the power just went off in your building. While the machine is still off not plugged to the wall. Press the power button several times. This will erase any saved info on memory.
Plug machine back on an try again. If it does it again you will need to replace your hard drive and that will take a service call.

Hi!Can you help me resolving error code 092-315 for xerox7225?

Can you verify the error code? 092-315 does not appear in the error code site. See link below

How To Search for a Fault Code WC7220 / WC7225 Fault Code Page
To search on a fault code, enter one code at a time. The codes will be displayed on the Touch Screen.
Fault code format: A 3-digit number, followed by a 3-digit number. For example, 010-352.
Viewing Fault and Alert Messages on the Control Panel
When a fault or alert condition occurs, a message will be displayed on the Control Panel to inform you of the problem. Alert messages inform you about printer conditions, such as low supplies or open doors, that require your attention. Fault messages warn you about printer conditions that prevent the printer from printing or degrade printing performance. If more than one condition occurs, only one displays on the Control Panel.
To view a complete list of active fault and alert messages:
  1. Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel.
  2. Select the [Active Messages] tab.
  3. Use the Down arrow and select [Faults], [Alerts], or [Faults & Alerts].
  4. To view details, select a fault or alert.
Viewing the Fault History on the Control Panel
When faults occur, they are logged in to a fault history file by date, time, and fault code. Use this list to identify trends and resolve problems.
To view the fault history:
  1. Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel.
  2. Select the [Active Messages] tab.
  3. Select [Fault History]. The screen displays the number, date, time, and image count for each fault code.
The following table represents the system area as represented by the first 3-digits of the fault code:
Chain Description 303 Communications Error 305 Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (DADF) 310 Fusing 312, 313 Finisher 371 - 375 Paper Tray Feed 377 Sensor / Interlock Fault 391 Drum Cartridge / Waste Toner

Xerox Phaser 8550 error code 07,01043:90804

This fault occurs due to the printhead being stuck in the tilted position. There are many reasons why this fault will occur, too many to mention.
More often than not, your problem will require the printhead and process gear to be re-aligned in order to get a reboot but sometimes it is possible to get a reboot by doing the following;
Turn the printer off, wait ten seconds then turn it back on again. Wait for the printer to start warming up to about 5 or 10 percent. At this point, switch the machine off again by the machine switch NOT your wall/plug switch. Wait ten seconds and switch on again. Now let it run through its normal cycle. The success rate for this method is small, possibly only 1 in 30 machines will recover.
The reason this will sometimes work is that, when you turn the machine off from the warm up, it powers down using its proper head parking routine, you will notice, it takes a while to shut down. If the original fault was due to say a power cut or someone pulling the plug out it is possible for the printer to find its home position and boot ok.
Unfortunately, a lot of the time, the reason for the fault is printer related and such, this method does not work. But it is always worth a try.
Hope this helps.

Print error 09, 005, 40:5069 how do i fix this?

Hi

This error in Xerox 8560 printer occurs when Cyan ink melt heater is on but the ink is not dripping. To troubleshoot this issue please make sure that you are using genuine Xerox ink. If yes then run Clear ISC Fault test to clear the error. The Clear ISC Fault is located in the Internal Diagnostics Function menu.

Also check for broken or wrong type of ink sticks. After this try clearing the fault by running Clear ISC Fault option. If the sticks are also fine then run the appropriate Ink Melt (1,2,3,4) Heater test. If the test fails then there is an issue with the print head.

Xerox 8550 printer has error or fault code 37,018:45:24719

Oh yuck. That is a source voltage fault.
The electronics module has most likely failed. Umm very expensive also. See if your insurance will cover repairing it. That way you can have Xerox come in fix it and insurance reimburse you. I have had to do calls like this several times and have had insurance pick it up. You may need an estimate to repair from the insurance company.

Xerox Workcentre 24. 20 months old. The sreen simply says: Fault/Error, then below: A fault has occured. Switch the machine Off and then On. If the problem persists, call for service. In the bottom left...

That is a software processing error.
Do you have it set up as a printer? If so, try removing the print cable and power it on that way.
If that doesn't work, you need to have the firmware reloaded. That can only be done from a laptop with Xerox software on it.
