Question about Panasonic PT-47WX53 47" Rear Projection HDTV

Panasonic 47" rear projection TV

Same issue. No pic no power. LED blinks 3 times. I have it under warranty. Is this a minor issue or major.

    We are having the same exact problem. The red led light flashes 3x and then nothing. There is no picture and no power. Please Help!

If your set is still under warranty then get it fixed now other wise it will cost 300.00 or more to fix. replace nte 2973 mosfet transistor [2] capacitors 1200pf 2k volts.these caps are not hard to find look for burnted next to high voltage & convergence plugs ins.

Panasonic power led blinks but no picture
The model indicated is a rear projection crt (picture tube type) set.

Count the number of blinks and if you have to: uplug the set and try to turn it on again---most will blink a error code and the most popular are a series of 3 blinks, a pause and 3 more blinks etc.

Let me know the number of blinks and I will attempt to point you to what is wrong.

What are the error codes for a Panasonic PT-47WX 42 TV
Hi,
3 times LED blinks in Panasonic PT-47WX42 shows problem with convergence out chips failure as this tv has two big black ICs STK392-110 as convergence output, replace them to fix tv problem.
Click Part Store to see an image of required chip and price info.
Local tv tech is recommended if you have no experience of working in tv circuit boards.

Panasonic PT-47wx53 just shut off
Your convergence ICs have failed. Thats what causes the led to blink three times. The PT53WX53 convergence repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com will usually repair that issue. The kit also contains the CD with detailed repair instructions.

Replace convergence out ICs in A Board to fix this issue.
3 times blink shows convergence problem.

Panasonic projection tv 53 inch shut down and power lite blinked 3 times. I changed both ic's and one resistor and tv come on for about 5 minutes and picture started bouncing and tv shut down and again...
Thats the 140 v error. Check the HV wire ( large Red Wire) The coinnection can cause that issue.

if the led is blinking one time its the 140 volt circuit. If its blinking a series of 3 blinks its the convergence circuit

3 blinks is the error code for the convergence ICs. You need to replace both STK392-110 convergence ICs. You can get replacement ICs at the following link and they provide installation instructions with pictures.

Panasonic PT-47WX53 47 in. Rear Projection HDTV Television and the power will not turn on it just worked last night. I left it unplugged for an hour and tried to turn it back on and it stayed on for a minut and then turned off and the power light blinks several times like a code or something. Is this tv saveable i don't mind trying to fix it because it has been a great tv but just don't went to spend a lot on a old tv. Any help would be appreciated, thanks
