When you obtained water damage to your phone you should have immediatly taken the battery out and put both battery and the phone in a bowl of rice and sealed it.
This would allow the rice to draw out the moisture from inside the phone. This would have to be done for at least 24-48 hours to work properly.
Even if you did it exactly like that its still not 100% certain to work. Upon turning the phone back on (or could have happened when it first got wet) the phone shorted out. The results vary from situation to situation but your phone is damaged and there is nothing that can be done.

Your only real option is to replace the phone as repairing phones these days is not cost effective. Post back with any questions or comments for further assistance.

Thank you for choosing Fixya!

How to recover from a black screen after phone been drop in water?

I have always been told that electronics and water do not mix.
This being true, you have nothing to loose by trying.
Remove the battery to avoid further damage.
I have 'been told' that you can put the phone into a container of dry rice and the rice will somehow absorb moisture.
After a day or two take it out, brush off the rice, cross your fingers, and put in the battery.
Like I said above, "to avoid further damage"; so the damage could have been done immediately.
In all probability you will find that it is time for an upgrade.
The carrier may have a trade in program that is very generous if you upgrade to a different, (more expensive), phone or different, (more expensive), service. Ask if you can switch back to what you have now at the end of the contract, and how long before you can do it.

Htc one how to dry it out after being drop in water

UGH! Sorry to hear that. You could try the old Bowl of Rice method, where you place the phone inside a bowl of rice, or inside a ziplock back full of rice, and then leave it there for a couple of weeks. (the rice is UNCOOKED!!!) Hopefully, that helps. If not, your phone might be toast. Check and see if you have insurance with your carrier, and whether they insure against water damage.

To dry it out, put it into a bag of rice for about 3 days. Don't use a hair dryer because it could damage soldered parts or other sensitive pieces. Next time, put your mobile into a small plastic zip-lock sandwich bag or similar. You can still receive calls and make them, and keep the phone dry.

My alias 2 got wet so I put it in a bag of uncooked rice. The inside screen still has moisture in it. Can I take the screen off? It has been in the rice for more than 24 hrs.

Change the rice to make sure it is dry again... then wait a couple of more days... sometimes it can take a few changes of the rice and up to a week to get them dried out...DO NOT turn the phone back on until you are sure that it is completely dry or irreversible damage will be done...

Dear sir nokia 1662 water damage any way no network cuvarage plz help

For water damage on a cellular phone: turn off the phone, take out the battery and put both the phone and battery inside a zip lock bag full of uncooked rice for 24-48 hours. The rice will draw out the water from your phone. Once the phone and battery are completely dried out, put the battery back into the phone and power it up. This should fix the problem.

Ok my phone was in my little sisters bag and it got wet now my end buttons dont work and my front screen dosent work plus when i put it on charge it shuts off and i will press a butten and it truns off...

the phone is misbehaving because there is still water on the panel. Its not good to leave the phone on as it might damage because of the water.

Remove the battery from the phone, get a phone screw driver, open up the phone, remove the phone panel, dry it under an electric bulb or sunlight, allow the panel heat very well so the water will dry up completely from it.

After heating, allow the panel cool, before you couple the phone back. And do not dry the screen as that will damage it.

Once you have this done you phone should work well again.

Take care.

Sync A707 in water

Did you dry the phone completely? If not here is the procedure to take out all moisture trapped in the phone: Dry the phone, battery, any accessory, etc. with cloth and wrap each piece, phone and accessories, in newspaper. Place a few handfuls of rice into a plastic bag and then place the wrapped phone in the bag with rice. The newspaper wrapping avoids direct contact of rice with your phone because the dust from the rice can get into the small areas of the phone. The newspaper and rice will absorb moisture. Leave it there (with the bag open) at least 24 hrs.

well that means you have liquid damage and you have voided your warranty on your device. Your only option is to buy a new phone or take advantage of insurance if you have it!

Cell pjone water damage

Unfortunately it may be too late...the phone should have been turned off the battery should be taken out as soon as it was taken out of the water...this keeps circuits from shorting out... never hurts to try everything...

Place the phone in a sealed container full of uncooked rice, and leave it there for at LEAST 3 days...thats 72 hours of not powering it tempting as it is to "check"

You have to give the rice time to draw out any moisture.

Hope this helps.
