Remove top cover and lower rear panel.
Tilt washer forward and get someone to support it for you.
Fit belt round motor pulley first, and slowly feed belt round drum pulley, turning pulley at same time, watch you fingers!!.
It is tight, but is meant to be .

The belt on my hotpoint aquarious wma33 keeps coming off

Belt is not adjusted tight enough when being fitted, if no adjustment can be made by moving the motor then the belt may be stretched and will need replacing, the drum bearings may be faulty and causing the pulley to be out of alignment, water may be getting on to belt causing it to slip off.

If the brushes are less than 3 or 4 mm long, then they need replacing.
If still no spin , but washes o/k, then the high speed part of the motor windings could be faulty, which entails replacing the motor.

Hotpoint Aquarious 1200 IE When spinning the drum ocsillates violently and is very noisy.

Remove drive belt, and spin drum by hand, if noisy or rough, then bearings have failed, if no noise, then could be suspensioon leg problem.

Location of element

Hi, Hotpoint FDW60 got a concealled element.
You need to unplug and disconnect the dw, lay it flat on its back and remove the bottom tray (depending on the final letter for your model (FDW60G, FDW60P, FDW60T) you might need to remove the side panels and kickboard to release the bottom tray). Carefull with the floater switch. You should be able to locate the element straight away. Replace it and reverse the process.

Replacing the belt on a Hotpoint Aquarious Tumble dryer

I cannot find a support site for sears appliances that was helpful but most of them have spring clips that hold the top into place just pry it shightly up and pull it the rest of the way starting from the front. Once the top is opened you can see the motor and belt. You can also see it from the bottom by tiping it up and laying it on the side

Hotpoint Aquarious TDC32 Hi, Can you help me please? The drum on my tumble dryer has stopped turning round. The motor is still working ok, do you think it might be the drum belt? Before it stopped...

ths will be the belt if the motors working then thats the only thing it can be undue the screws at the back of the lid take the lid of if u cant see the belt around the drum its broke if u can just try and pull it up if it comes totally out its broke if not then it has come off the rolllers which r situated at the bottom of the drier u can get to these by taking the bottom cover off at the back BUT ALWAYS SWITCH OFF AT THE POWER AND UN-PLUG THE DRIER love
