First, check the airflow to the outside vent. if that's ok, then you have a bad thermistor. good luck :)

SOURCE: bosch maxx wtl 6300 dryer when

Hi Guys...
At least I can shed some light on how to open the bottom part.
When you are looking into the dryer with the door open, take a look at the bottom hinge of the door. There is what looks like to be button popped out slightly..
Place your thumb on it and press. This should open the bottom part of the dryer.  Then clear out the gap between where the lint filter connects to the other units below it (when the door is closed...)
Hope this makes sense... there seems to be a sensor there..  I just cleaned mine so praying that the beeps stop.. Its been driving us mad for the last 8 months!

SOURCE: LG TROMM DLE7177RM Dryer: when I turn power on it

Ah you unhooked it from the wall, but did you go outside and see if air flow was adequate outside. Quite often flexable hoses and duct work get plugged with lint. If that is the case be glad your dryer had pleanty of safetys. If you start it briefly with the hose disconnected, do you get the dry light flashings? Metal duct work all the way outside is best.

SOURCE: Hi There, My Roper dryer stopped drying clothes

ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO DO ANY WORK ON IT.
Check to make sure you are getting full 220 Volt power to the dryer, if you are then:
Check your Wiring
Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the dryer, burns and the connection breaks. In this has happened to your dryer, you need to replace the power cord and the terminal block inside the dryer to which the wire is attached.
Check the Door Switch
If the door switch or the door-switch actuator is defective, the dryer won't work and you need to replace the failed component. The switch is inside the dryer main housing near the door frame. Sometimes you need to raise or open the top or front of the dryer to reach the switch. Check for continuity you should have none with door open, and should have a reading when closed. If not replace the door switch.
Check to make sure you heating problem is not a lint build up in the discharge hose or the dryer,as this condition can cause heater/thermistor problems such as overheating of the heating coil leading to failure of the coil and burnout of the thermostat/thermistor due to overheat.
Sounds like your problem may be with the heating coil. Remove the back/or front just under the door of the machine and try to locate the air duct going from the blower to the drum. Normally inside/outside the air duct you will find the heating coil and the thermostats/thermistors. Once you have located the heating coil, remove the two wires from it and check the coil with an ohm meter across the two terminals of the coil.
You should read continuity across the terminals, if not you will need to replace the coil as it is faulty.
If the heating coil is ok, then:
You can check the thermostat/thermistor one at a time by removing the two wires and taping them together with electrical tape or with an ohm meter to test the thermostat/thermistor. (Should have/show continuity)
If the coil heats up then replace the thermostat/thermistor.
(Thermal fuse.If it overheats the dryer will not operate. It's located on the blower housing. It cannot be reset. A vent clogged with lint can cause it to overheat. You can test it with an Ohm meter or continuity checker, if no continuity, replace it)
DO NOT LEAVE THE WIRES TAPED TOGETHER AFTER THE TEST.
This could cause a FIRE, as you have removed the safety of overheat from the machine.
Right after replacing a dryer element, always run the dryer on 'air fluff' / 'no heat', and go outside to verify there's plenty of air coming out your vent system.
If the vent's clogged, that new element can burn out very quickly.

The dryer is telling you what is wrong with it. Count the number of flashes the drying, cooldown, pressaver and clean filter light are flashing then count the number of times the control/start light is flashing. That will give you the error code number.

Sounds as if you have a clog somewhere. This is designed to stop running when it senses there is a back flow or resistance to the air pushing through here.

Dryer wont stay lit

if the flame is liting most likely problem is bad air movement.go outside with thedryer running and check the hood to see how strong the air is blowing out,if there's a cage or anything blocking the hood remove it,if the vent line is a long run remove the vent line from the back of the dryer, stick a leaf blower into it and blow out the lint to the outside.also with the dryer unplugged, remove the bottom panel, remove the lint filter and metal duct the filter slides into, clean that out and blow out the blower wheel with a shop vac,you can blow out the gas tube where the flame ignites to make sure it's clean blow off the motor and the cabinet and vac up all lint that blows forwards.you can try running the dryer with the vent line removed to see if it runs any better.when the dryer first heats up the flame will come on until the temp. is reached and it will shut down, one more thing to check, when gas coils start to fail you'll have heat for like the first 15 to 30 minutes, then when the coils heat up the ignitor will glow but no flame, after the coils cool down they will work again.how are you running it on timed dry or more or less dry,if you run it on auto or more or less dry there's a sensor inside where the lint filter is,try cleaning it up or try running it on timed dry to see if it runs any different, when on auto the heat comes on,when it reaches temp. the heat stops and the timer will advance, when it calls for heat the timer stops and the heat comes back on,it will do this until the clothes are dry.your model has an even heat board in it that can also cause problems but if the flame is liting it sounds like you have a block somewhere.go here this will tell you a little more about your model dryer.

Dryer stops too soon

if the dryer seems to be running fine check the vent line and the duct that the lint filter slides into, most likely if it takes to long to dry clothes lint is blocking the air movement somewhere, when was the last time you cleaned out the dryer and vent line, you should clean the dryer once a year so you don't have a fire and your clothes will dry on time,if the vent line is long remove it from the back of the dryer and blow it out with a leaf blower, remove the lint filter duct and clean it and vac out the cabinet where the motor is.

Instructions

Dryer Does Not Turn On
1

Ensure that the dryer's power supply cord is firmly plugged into an electrical outlet.
2

Inspect the structure's fuse box for a tripped fuse. Each fuse is assigned a single "On/Off" switch. If any fuse switch is in the "Off" position, flip that switch to the "On" position. If the problem persists, contact a professional electrician.

3

Press the "Start/Stop" button on the left side of the dryer's control panel.
4

Close the dryer door firmly so that the door clicks into place. The dryer will not operate if the door is not shut.
Lint Filter
5

Clean the lint filter. Twist the program selector knob on the control panel to the "Off" position, then open the dryer door. Pull the lint filter out of the dryer. The lint filter is located at the front of the dryer's tumbler, and is inserted vertically into the dryer. Gently stroke your hand over the filter to clear the lint, then reinsert the filter and close the door.
6

Turn the dryer off and allow at least 30 minutes for the dryer to cool, as excessive heat can cause a drying program malfunction.
7

Increase the ventilation of the room the dryer is located in, such as by opening a door or window. Excessive heat will cause the dryer to automatically turn off until it cools as a safety measure. Increasing the ventilation will help keep the dryer cool.
Clothing Not Fully Dry
8

Clean the moisture sensor. Open the dryer door to access the moisture sensor. The black-colored sensor consists of two bars, and is located at the front of the dryer's tumbler, to the left of the lint filter. The sensor should be cleaned with a clean cloth and white vinegar once per month.
9

Clean the lint filter. Twist the program selector knob on the control panel to the "Off" position, then open the dryer door. Pull out the lint filter. The lint filter is located at the front of the dryer's tumbler, and is inserted vertically into the dryer. Gently stroke your hand over the filter to clear the lint, then insert the filter back into the dryer and close the door.
10

Spin the laundry at a higher spin speed in the washing machine before placing the laundry into the dryer to reduce the moisture content.
11

Turn the dryer off and allow at least 30 minutes to pass for the dryer to cool, as excessive heat can cause a drying program malfunction.

the warning does not strictly mean filter only
there is a lint blockage somewhere in the vent system and there is only a single response the dryer knows to make
fan
fan housing
duct
outside vent
could all be sufficiently blocked to set off the warning

Bosch Dryer lint filer warning

The Bosch Dryer has a temperature probe in the heater exit and in the exhaust area visible when you open the door. If the temperature difference between the two gets to high, the lint filter is assumed to be plugged and the alarm goes off.

It seems that the temperature probe at the heater, can end up with a faulty connection to the control panel over time due to corroded contacts or lint build up. When this happens the control panel thinks the filter is clogged and it may also not turn on the heating elements properly. Remove the back cover over the heating element (12 screws) and then remove the one screw holding the red wiring connection to the dryer body. You can then wiggle out the wiring connection and clean / unplug and replug in the connector for the sensor. (plug with two small wires only). A little hard feeding the connector back through the hole so take your time and don't damage the wires). Should all work again. May want to inspect inside the heater at same time and make sure the overheating switch is not tripped. ( press in the red button).
