Question about Apple Mac OS X 10.5.4 Leopard for Mac
When I attempt to log in to my facebook profile and home pages with my Safari browser, the window will hang for about 60 seconds and give me the message:
Safari could not open the page “http://www.facebook.com/home.php” because the server is not responding.
Every other page is fine: Google, BBC, yahoo; I can even circumvent the facebook profile page and get into my mailbox, friend list and applications. Furthermore, I cannot access the profile pages of my friends. Nothing new has been downloaded to alter anything. I don't know if it matters, but the issue did begin the day after I was logged into CNN.com LIVE for the Jackson funeral - I was logged out and my computer required me to restart .. which is completely odd.
I'm using a password protected DSL connection with a one year old MACBook with Mac OS X version 10.5.4 .
My guess is that the problem has to do with pages that auto update
The problem is probably to do with the servers being clogged up with users but in any case if i were you i would update to the latest flash and java software then restart the computer.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
