Question about Audio Players & Recorders
My daughters MP3 player turns on for about 5 seconds and then shuts off. We have to take out the battery and put it back in and it will turn on again but shuts right back off. She has only had it about a month. Help!!
I have the same player and I can fix it by removing the battery and replacing it with a fresh battery. I've also found that rechargable batteries never show as being fully charged on the player, so try using a new regular AAA battery and see if that fixes it.

Try reformatting your mp3 player. It will erase everything (possibly hidden junk) wich might cause it to work properly again.
To do this, plug it into your computer. Click on the mp3 icon from your "My Computer" folder. When you get to "Internal Storage" right click on the icon and select format.
