Is it possible to replace the ceramic top to the stove?

No, probably need a new stove, people do not seem to deal in used appliances like they used to do

Open the oven door and look up across the front for 4 screws.

I have a Maytag Performa Ceramic stove top which I have "washed" the serial number, I broke the glass top and need to replace it, but I don't have the model/serial number. If anyone has one please give me the numbers. Thank you

You are looking at approx. $450.

When you dont replace the ceramic top that ios cracked could cause issues in your circuit board. The best thing t do is buy a new stove. The parts nad labor along is going to cost you about the same price as a new one.

You should be able to replace the top only.
Normally if this is your fault, it is not covered by warranty. Normally this would be if you dropped something onto it. This would leave like a star shap series of cracks.
If its down to manufacture, this should be covered under warranty. This damage normally looks like just one long crack, no impact mark.

replace the glass. it may be expensive but usually fairly easy

Lift the ceramic top and look at the burnner to see if it is bad or not.
You only have to take 2 screws in the front of the ceramic top at the bottom, just open the oven door and look at the corners.
Don't forget to unplug the stove first

you would need to replace entire glass top itself. part depending on model can run 300 dollars.(part only)

the sensor is built on to the top of the surface element if it was me id replace both the element and switch so you only have to go in once but its probably the element
