You should have a wire diagrahm on the back of the motor. It will give you placement for your lines and how to wire it for 110v and 220v. In ether case two of the wires will go to the line connections. You should have one green wire that will connect to the motor caseing on a green screw. It will be out of the way and not on the wire board. It will be on the motor housing off to the side. I hope this helps.

How do I connect the red and black wires (power source) to the SP2610x15 pool pump?

Your line leads go on the L1 and L2 terminals in the rear of the motor. It will not matter which wire is on which terminal as long as you seperate them with only one wire on either terminal.

Hayward Swimming PoPump is 4 years old - when I opened pool, pump

it you've inspected all the wiring for possible shorts, the most likely problem is that the motor has developed a short in the windings. You may have to replace the motor. First check for loose connections and make sure the wiring going to the pump is good. Also, check the start capacitor, should be under the hump or under the end cover on the motor. If it's bloated or leaking, it's bad.
Most likely the winding have a direct short.

Have a supreme Solar - Solar conroller for swimming pool. Roof indicator light is flashing and system wont turn on, (not even in manual mode) Pump working OK though. What does this mean

it sounds like you have a problem with the air temperature sensor on the roof. either you have some damage to the wiring going to the sensor, or the sensor itself has gone bad. Also, check the wiring inside the control box, make sure the connections are tight. If possible, follow the wire from the control box all the way to the sensor. If the wire looks good and there is no damage at all, the sensor probably needs to be replaced.
