How To unlock the 4 digit scurity code of my lg-a133

the code it wants sounds like a pin number
it is a security item so that if your phone is lost or stolen the person with it gets 3 tries to use it before the PUK code locks it and makes it useless
there are ways of getting around it but then as I said anybody steals the phone and buddy you are hacked
