I just removed and measured mine, it is reading 148ohms. Assuming a 5% tolerance, i'd say it's a 150ohm resistor. Mine has just gone but it's the semi conductor adjacent to that. If you can read the identity mark on top, would be greatly appreciated.

SOURCE: What is the value of the large resistor on a KW14-VO board

If that is r2 then mine is brown green black gold. It is next to the full wave rectifier.

Values of the resistors

Resistors R1, R2, R3, and R4 are arranged in a circuit as shown in the figure above. The direction of positive currents I1, I2, I3, and I4 through the resistors are shown. (i.e., negative current values correspond to currents in the opposite direction to that shown above). The values for the resistors and the batteries in the circuit are: R1 = 100 ?, R2 = 200 ?, R3 = 30 ?, R4 = 400 ?, V1 = 4 V, and V2 = 12 V.

The value of resistor in the light box color coded

Without a circuit diagram or another actual unit to look at it is very difficult to identify burnt out resistors. Even harder is finding out why it burnt out because most of the time a resistor only burns out if overloaded due to other circuit component faults.

Resistor value

You need to refer to the circuit diagram to identify the resistor and its value.
Most likely this resistor failed as a result of another component failing.

Was given a Coleman power drill, model CMD8189. The charger is inoperable. The two resisters on the charger internal circuit board have been fried. The resistor codes have been burnt off, so I cannot

I need the same, but found a Makita multi-voltage charger and have been able to use it. The package says It is for Makita batteries only. HItachi also makes a universal battery charger. I found both at my local Lowe's. The Makita was originally $69, but was marked down to $25. The Hitachi was around $70. You can find either one for good prices on Ebay or Amazon.

Good luck!
