You may have water damage to the batteries or, The modulator, or water damage to connecting wires.

Razor MX 500 Electric Dirt Bike won't take a charge?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved from Razor health and beauty category.

It is a known issue, but it may also be that you haven't depleted enough power for it to require a charge?

Razor MX500, new batteries fully charged, suddenly stopped responding. No power, no click, nothing.

Thoughts -
No/poor connection between power source and motor
Motor failure
Only someone with their hands on the bike can fully diagnose.

How can i test electrical compontents on the mx500 dirt bike? i bought it used. it will not run the lights on the the throttle light up that the battery is full but when i twist the throttle nothing...

If the lights on a the throttle are showing a full battery then try disconnecting the brake switches at the controller one at a time. If the bike works after disconnecting a brake switch then that switch is faulty and should be replaced.
There is some excellent information on trouble shooting and testing components here http://www.razorama.com/razor-installation-guides.html

How long can the Razor MX500 Dirt Rocket be ridden after charged?

Run time depends on a few things, including the weight of the rider, the terrain being riden over and the condition of the bike.
For example, a light rider riding on flat hard packed dirt or paved road with a bike that is in good mechanical condition - tires inflated to correct pressure, chain correctly adjusted/lubed, brakes adjusted, etc. - will have a longer run time than a heavier rider on soft undulating dirt with a bike that has not been maintained.
Generally you should be able get 40-45 minutes out of a new battery.
Check out the trouble shooting guide and user manual if you are getting less than half and hour.

Why is my Razor motorcycle MX350 battery showing green but not charging

yes!your battery needs replacement.....throttle clicking after a full charge is a sign,...but that's after 2years or more, depending on how it's being used..your motor can go bad before then if you been riding in the rain--wet connectors in or out the motor can not get wet for any reason..a full dirt motor bike can not get full dirty with mud..mud catains water/water and electricity don't mix/////.motor/thottle/moisture.

Charger keeps flashing red and green and wont charge

Hi,
Look at the connector end that plugs into the bike. You might have to take it apart to see the wires inside. My son has a Razor Vespa type scooter and the solder job for the wires inside the connector were not the best. It might be a broken wire, especially if it's flashing between red and green.

Hope this Helps!
