Nokia 6265i My cell phone will not turn on, it just freezes. It will cost lots of money to fix. I heard there are problems like this with this cell phone and it is really easy to fix, but don't know how. Do you?

You can call the service provider and unlock it easily.

there is a software problem. firstly hard format it by pressing *3call buton then press starting button.it will start formating.

but you can also use code *#7370# for hard format *#7880# for factory setting.it solve your problem man

Try installing a theme or use the default theme. Oxycube works with this model of Nokia for uploading and downloading files such as themes etc. To use it U need a data cable and the correct usb drivers. These phones have problems if they do not have enough memory and also problems if the video is set to max.Howard forums has some info on them.

The default security code is simply 12345 and should work unless changed by your friend or MetroPCS. Hope this helps, if not, you may have to hard reset the phone. I will not explain how, but you can google it easy enough. Good Luck!!

hi there...do you already try to change the baterry from other same phone? if this way fix the problem that mean your phone baterry need to replace with new one.. but if still happen and you already change that's mean you must bring it to nearst nokia service or cellular phone service ask them to upgrade the firmware that your phone have with update one...

Try *#7780# for a reset, you may have to try it several times.

I've had the exact same problem with my nokia 6265i for almost a year now. I bought mine at Future Shop, so their express exchange program has now sent me my fourth nokia of the same model because I've had the same issue with every single phone. Clearly there is an issue with this model. If you bought it from Telus they may have a different program when the phone is still under warranty. If it's not, then Telus gave me two options. 1) get $100 off of a new phone (at non-contract p[rice) and renew your 3 year contract with Telus. (oh goody!) or 2) They are offering a samsung phone.. can't remember the model, you can phone them. But they are offering that for $80.00. In other words.. the phone is useless, and you will still end up forking out money either way. Telus will not make up for this. They told me to contact Nokia about the phone. I don't know how that could possibly help my situation. I'm done dealing with them until next month when the Nokia breaks down again.

I have the same issue. As I can tell by the number of posts, this is obviously a common problem. I am surprised that the manufacturer does not accept any responsibility

Not a solution but I can tell you that i have this problem and it started when i bought the after market charger from verizon.
