My pixma1900 printing, but all of print just BLANK PAGE , there is no text or line. I already try troubleshooting and try all of instruction, but it still print that BLANK PAGE. Can U help me? Please

This can be caused by a number reasons,
1, The print head heater circuit may have gone open circuit.
2, There maybe a cable break in the ribbon cables to the carriage.
3, The logic board may not be giving any voltage to the cables.
4, The ink cartridges maybe empty (true, really) and the machine is not detecting this.
5, The purge unit maybe blocked and not allowing ink to be sucked through it.

Did you have a paper jam before this happened. if so then paper maybe stuck in the purge unit.
Turn the machine on and when you hear the motor start and the carriage moves, kill the power. Open the main cover and slide the carriage (where the inks go) to the left end of its travel. At the right end is the purge. See if there is any ink soaked paper on it and remove it. try again and hopefully that may do the trick. If not then take the machine to a canon repairer as its almost impossible for you to diagnose which part has failed.

Blank pages; new ink

You need to change your print setting preferences to print on photo paper and choose the correct type before trying to print pictures. While in the picture you want to print on your pc screen, go to file and then print and choose preferences. Then change the paper type to the type of photo paper you are using (i.e. glossy, matte finish ect.) and hit "ok". Then trying printing your picture and see if this solves your problem.

How do I clean the printer nozzles as it leaves streekes on printed pictures?

If the ink is smearing, it probably is not getting enough drying time. The ink drying time is a period of time inserted between pages to reduce the chance that a page will smear the one below it in the output tray. This time is factored into the time between when the first page finishes and when the next page finishes. Printing will pause temporarily if more time is needed. The time it takes for ink to dry varies greatly depending on paper type, printer driver settings, humidity, and temperature. In addition, the paper and print settings may affect the speed at which the ink can dry:
  • Transparencies require much longer drying times than other paper types.
  • Some store-branded photo papers do not allow ink to dry correctly because of the coatings used in their manufacture.
  • Printing in Best mode can increase the dry time.
Resolving the problem If the ink smears, increase the drying time. To increase the drying time in Windows, follow the steps below:
  1. When ready to print, click File , click Print .
  2. Depending on your driver version, click Properties , Settings , or Preferences and follow the steps below depending on the option.
    • For Properties or Settings , follow the steps below:
      1. Click the Advanced tab.
      2. In the Extra Dry Time section, move the slider toward More .
    • For Preferences , follow the steps below:
      1. Click the Basics tab.
      2. From the Basics tab, click Advanced Features .
      3. In the Extra Dry Time section, move the slider toward More .
  3. Try a sample print and see if the drying time needs to be increased more.
To increase the drying time for a Macintosh computer, follow the steps below:
  1. From the File/Print Menu , select Ink under the General tab.
  2. In the Dry Time section, move the slider toward More .
  3. Try a sample print and see if the drying time needs to be increased more.
Other steps that will reduce ink smearing If the ink still smears when printing, try some of the following suggestions:
  • Decrease the amount of time it takes for the ink to dry by decreasing the print quality to Normal or Fast mode.
  • Try printing on a different type of paper or on paper from another manufacturer. Paper formulas are different between manufacturers and may have a coating that causes the ink to be absorbed at different rates.
  • When printing large graphics or photos on plain paper in Best or Normal modes, improve the results by using heavier paper. Paper that is rated at 90 g/m2 (24 lb.) or higher will not curl or smear as easily as paper of a lighter weight.

Blank pages

You might want to start by doing some general print quality troubleshooting, including printing a test page. The test page should give you an indication if you have issues with print cartridges. Also, some printers may not print at all if even one of their cartridges is empty:

Correcting Print Quality Problems

The other thing that occurred to me is that your document feeder could be pulling in more than one sheet of paper at a time, this means it would output blank sheets as well. Here's a web page that describes the problem and what to do about it:

Automatic Document Feeder Error

Hopefully the answer to your problem is available in those web pages. Good luck.

Blank printout

If you are able to drag out your users manual, most lazer printers have a self cleaning process for the head, which takes around 3-5 minutes to complete, after that try to run a test page to ensure the colors are working fine.

Failing that, unless the printer is brand new, and or unless it has been sitting ( unused - regardless of age ) the print heads can dry out leaving a blockage ... hence, no ink, hence blank page.

The only other suggestion after running a Print head clean, would be to replace or refill the ink cartridges.
