Check your frequency, interference eliminator code and Qt filter to be certain they all match one another. You can use the programming instructions to change your frequency.

How to fix a motorola radio model em200 doesnt

It is possible your radio is not set to the correct frequency and code, and is working but not on the same freq/code as your other units. Here is a link to a similar radio's user guide http://www.giantintl.com/ContentManage/manuals/Moto/EM1000%20User%20Guide%2001-11-08.pdf Possibly using it you will see how to program/check the frequency, code and Qt filter (if any).

Best regards.

I cant talk to the other radio. the channels are both the same.

Check your frequency, code and Qt filter (if any) settings. For basic operations set the code and Qt filters to zero (off). Turn off any special features, and try the radios in just a basic mode.

Best regards.

I have a new RCI 2995DX . that after 1-2 mounths it go's off frek

Have you herd it off freq? Do you have a freq counter? How do you know that the person that told you it sounds off freq don't have their receive off freq?

if its on a freq counter, and shows not off freq, then the radio is not off freq. There is some other problem.. Or no problem because if it is just some one else saying it, maybe they are just too picky.

Things that could cause your audio to change. If its in your mobile, diving around will make your audio sound different to people. Antenna or feed line problems. If there is a problem with your antenna or feed line, it could make your audio sound bad or off to some one else.

Also, if this unit has been modded, has the clarifier been unlocked? if so that will change your TX freq.

If the unit is new and nothing has been done to it, there should be no reason why it is off freq unless some one has done something to it.

Constant tone on an HT1000

You will get a constant tone on any channel that isn't programmed. it sounds like the previous user ha a freq programmed on channel 1. Channel 11 is strange, but possible. Usually guys program these radios in order.... they don't put 2 freqs in soo far apart from each other..... I would expect channel 1 AND 2 to have freq programmed in them.... but channel 1 an channel 11 is strange... but possible. Anytime you don't fill up all the channels on these radios (commercial radios in general) you will get a constant tone on the channels that don't have anything programmed in them. Program the radio and your good to go. If you don't program freqs into al the available channels, expect to hear that "constant tone" on any unprogrammed channels. The channels that you hear a tone on do not have a freq programmed into it. Its normal. Good luck
