I cannot think of any reason why it would be dangerous to use. We have used it for cooking in the past.

Oil press. stop motor is written on the dash. I'm due for a oil change...is it dangerous to drive my car with this notice?

yes, you are in danger of ruining your motor.. check your oil by pulling out the dipstick, wiping the oil of the end of the dipstick and replace it fully down again into the dipstick tube. Pull it out again and check the level of the oil. If it is low, add oil before driving. If it does not show on the dipstick, add 1 quart at time and check the level each time before adding more, until it is to the correct level marked in the dipstick

My oil dipstick won't go back in. is it dangerous to drive without it?

no it's not dangerous to drive without it, just be sure you know how much oil you have in your motor. The only way to know without having a dipstick in there is to drain all the oil, and fill it up with new oil, unless you are sure that you have no leaks or you know that it doesn't burn any oil.I hope I could help, rate me accordingly, thanks.

I've 1998 Dodge Caravan 3.3L SE. The oil has been slowly leaking since last few years. The cost to replace the gasket is a lot 'cause he needs to remove the engine and so on. Is it worth doing it? I am not...

if the oil is leaking onto the exhuast then yes there is always a fire danger, but the oil lea must be a very big one, more than just a few drops on the ground every nigh.

Stoped running when oil light cam on

oil light coming on usually indicates low oil pressure, your vehicle may have a safety device that shuts the engine down when the oil pressure drops to a dangerous level to protect the engine....hope this helps.....cheers

In the cold driver door does not open

as wierd as this sounds, where the door meets the car at the rubber seal, rub canola oil or some kind of cooking oil, it does not freeze and the door will not stick to the car. Another problem can be that the check strap, the little strap (usually looks like a little metal bar that comes out the front edge of the door between the two hinges) gets sticky. White grease can help that sometimes.
