Muzzleloading Rifles Modern Replica Percussion For Sale that were posted for $600. A H&A .22 rifle here
FALLING BLOCK 22 RIFLE was listing for $250 Wish I could get closer than that, but listings on H&A tend more toward shotguns and pistols, and have prices anywhere from $30 'wall guns' to $500+

1868 to 1916 then company went bankrupt
a picture of your gun and bore size would be helpful

yes a antique gun
only worth what someone will pay for it
has to shoot and in mint condition

price will be in the hundreds
none for sale online to get an accurate price

most likely a goose gun back powder cartridge
8 gauge or is it a 12 gauge

Some were in a "break open" configuration and some were in single action type.
They are old and I wouldn't try and shoot it; before a certain year only black powder is to be used and F modern powder is use gun would explode. Take it to a reputable gunsmith and have them look at it and give you an appraisal on it.

I am trying to get age of a Hopkins and Allen single shot 12 guage. The only number I see is s1837. It does say Hopkins and Allen Arms so after 1898 I assume.

It was built on the 1890 Hopkins and Allen patent and is very similar to several dozens of inexpensive single shot shotguns.
