It is illegal for a refilled printer cartridge to void a printer warranty. Magnuson-Moss warranty act. You need to know if the chip on the bottom of the cartridge in a small recess was reset or replaced. If it was then you need to check if there is an air bubble trapped in the egress hole (where the ink comes out of the cartridge and into the printer, small silver circle on bottom) The label can be sliced on one side where the two parts of the cartridge body meet and then flipped to one side. Pull out the ink bad and frame, GENTLY!!! do not rupture the bag!, and look to see if there is an air bubble in the tube that stands up. If there is you can use a syringe and needle to draw it out. You may now also have an air bubble in your supply line that may need purging, save that for the pros if this doesn't fix you problem.

Remember, your local Cartridge World can take care of all of this for you and guarantee that it will work.

Good luck, Pat.

Refilling ink cartridges will ruin manufacturer warranty and is not recommended (mainly cause they want you to spend your money on buying ink from them, but also because of ink leaking everywhere, etc).

try a new ink cartridge.

Printer not printing in black. Print Color only.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. First of all please try the refill cartridge on some other printer. If it’s working fine on the other printer then check the settings of the printer which are by default 960 dpi (dots per inch) but due to some reason this size has been reduced. Now you have to change this setting to more than 960, around 1200 dpi and then check out that if your printer works fine.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

I changed my black ink and now i get the message left cartridge incorrect..how do i fix it?

HP PSC 2210 InkJet Printer. The following has to be done for checking the Blank Ink Catridge working : 01. Remove the existing Black catridge and Color Catridges from the Printer carefully. 02. Clean the location with a soft cloth with cleaning liquid to make the place dust free. 03. Put the correct black and colour cartridges recommended by HP and that too genuine one. 04. Do not use any refilled or reinked local catridges that will spoil the HP PSC 2210 printer. 05. Re-install the catridges both Black and Colour properly. 06. Take a test print out - both black and colour print outs. 07. Check the Printer status and there is no warning of Cartridges wrongly inserted. Have a Good day.

I have refilled my black ink catridge in HP PSC 1410 . now my printer does not print any pages . i have cleaned my printer catridges, still it's not printing any pages . plz tell me the detailed steps to...

Sounds like the printer thinks the cartridge is empty. Old PSC units had a 3 cartridge memory - you kept 3 cartridges and cycled them to trick the printer into thinking it had just received a brand new cartridge, rather than a refilled one.
