HI Sharon,

Sounds like your email account with gmail has been hacked and under control by another person. However, im not sure about what you wrote about you logged into your email account by using your own email and password with gmail then ....what happened did you logged in successfully or not?
if you did logged in your gmail account successfully then after you logged in you see your profile name has been changed to another person name and so on the address also has been changed too then it definitely means your gmail account has been hacked by another person who did know your email address and password and that person logged into your gmail account and he or she changed your profile info and gain control to use your gmail account. This issues are not difficult all you need to do is logged in to your gmail account then on the upright conner you would see profile name of you or may be of another person name just click on it and click on MY ACCOUNT from there all you need to do is to review all of personal information and make correction back your your own profile. Once you finish to make correction then the last step is you MUST CHANGE YOUR GMAIL PASSWORD so that the hacker no longer can access your gmail account anymore.
Now you need to do a second step and this is very important it regarding why and how the hacker could gaining control of your gmail account because some of the computers you did use to get online and logged in to your gmail account ( it could be your home computer or laptop or it could be any computer outside your home but you did one time use it to check your email) Those computers or laptops you has used they has been infected by trojan or malware that is why the hacker could pull out your personal info such as email address or password. Now we are talking about your computer or laptop at home : to prevent those hacker again can gain control to access your computer without your knowledge so that they can pull out your new gmail password ! After you fix your gmail profile and change new gmail password you need to do next is to clean up and remove the virus, malware, trojan horse ....etc whatever it is which infected inside your computer. Then you will be safe.

If you can not do it by yourself ( to remove infected file on your computer) then you really need professional help to get your computer services by a computer tech.

Good Luck.

How do I see what devices have been using my google account

Recognize the signs of unauthorized access on your email account.
An obvious indicator is when email messages appear as having been read even though you haven't read them.

Also, if you check the "Sent Mail" and "Deleted Mail" folders, you may notice messages that have been emailed or deleted without your permission.

Another sign is if the secondary email account has been changed.
Check the "Sent Mail" folder for forwards from your email account.

The email address that receives the forwards is likely to be owned by your email hacker.
The same is true if the secondary email account has been changed.

The owner is probably the person who has unauthorized access to your email account.
Check the IP addresses of the activity on your email account.

If you are using Google's Gmail service, this is as simple as logging in and scrolling to the bottom of the page.
There it will indicate the time and the IP address of the last activity on your email account.
If you click on the activity monitor, you can find even more information about the person who accessed your email account.

(If you have another email provider, you will have to contact their support for this information.) The IP address indicates the location and identity of the person who has logged into your account.

How to avoid online banking fraud ?

1.Change your password regularly: Users must change their password after the first log-in for online banking. Besides, keep changing your password at regular intervals. Needless to say, don't disclose your password to anyone, not even the banking staff.
2.Avoid using cyber cafes for banking purposes: Avoid using the Internet banking facility from cyber cafes, libraries or from systems installed in public places. But in case it is an absolute necessity, you must clear the browser cache and delete the temporary files on the PC you've accessed the Internet from.
3.Don't use personal details in the password: Avoid using your date of birth, telephone number, address or name in your password. This practice makes your account more vulnerable to being hacked as your password can be easily guessed by just about anyone. Besides, do not leave your computer unattended while you are logged in to the bank site.
4.Don't let your browser memorise your details: Never let your computer remember your passwords, names, etc. Always disable the browser's option of storing user names and passwords.
5.Don't e-mail credit card and account details: Make it a thumb rule not to send credit card or account details via e-mail to anybody, or in response to an e-mail.
6.Shop at reputed sites only: While shopping online, please wait for a second and check if the website is an established one and a reputed name in the online shopping domain. Always check if the shopping site has a well-established permanent address.
7.Log off when finished: Always log off after Internet banking once you are done with it. You need to log out from the website and do not shut off the window in order to log off from the session.
8.Look for the padlock and the 's' in the URL: While making online payments, check whether the website is secure or not by looking for, i) a padlock symbol at the bottom of your browser, and ii) an 's' added to http in the URL. It should then be https.
9.Check the account: Whenever you make a transaction, immediately check your account and see if the right amount has been deducted or added to it. In case there is any misappropriation, inform the concerned bank immediately.
10.Don't follow the links: Always reject any e-mail that asks you to follow a link to the website of your bank. You may end up revealing your personal details on a fake bank website, from which hackers steal information.
11.Don't open multiple browsers: You must not open multiple browsers during Internet banking. Also equip your system with an up-to-date anti-virus software and have a firewall installed in it.
12.Destroy the receipts: Do not keep documents and receipts related to your online translations. They usually carry confidential personal financial information. You had better destroy or shred such documents or receipts to stop them from falling into the wrong hands.
13.Don't share your personal information on websites: You shouldn't give your e-mail address at websites without knowing how it will be used. Besides, do not share your personal information like date of birth, etc, on the Internet unnecessarily because it can be used by others to unlock or generate your account password.

Remove then change name of registered owner

Create a new account with administrator privileges (you can call it Administrator). Don't set a password for it. save the changes and log off or reboot.
Log on to the Administrator account, look for the users configuration or account management. Delete your old account, the one that has your name. Also change the name of your computer. Explore the drive in search of personal documents you might have stored in it: Passwords to websites, E-mail address in mail clients, favorite sites.
Delete any file that may be left in your old account.

Depending upon what you use your web based e-mail account for, you have preferences when it comes to your display name.
Your gmail display name is usually the first and last name that you provided when you originally created your account.
Fortunately, you are not locked into the name displayed on gmail account, you can change your gmail name in a few simple steps.

Log into your gmail account using your current gmail address and password.
Make sure to select the "Keep me logged in" box under the log-in fields.
Click the Settings hyperlink in the upper right hand corner of your screen.
It will be located right next to where your email address is at the top of the web browser window.

Click the Accounts and Imports tab in the settings box.
At the bottom of the Accounts and Settings tab, select the Google Account Settings hyperlink.

Select the Edit your Personal Info hyperlink under the personal info section of your google accounts page.
From there, you can change your first name, last name or nickname.
Once you make the desired changes click the save button at the bottom of the page.

When you were opening signing up this this account, I am sure you were asked for an alternative e-mail address, either it was for a friend or for a person who helped you to sign up. When you go there, there will be log in information for this account.

How do i delete my name in front of my e mail

You can perform the below steps to remove the name from email address if using Gmail account: Go to Settings > Accounts and Import > Send mail as and then click Edit info. Delete your name. You can leave that field blank if you wish.

If you are referring to change the name infront of email address then I am sorry to say that it is not possible as that is the email address regestered with the email service hence you have to create a new email address.
