Files missing on SD card :( Navigon Fresh can not detect?

The MN folder/program is missing on my 8110 device. I can only see the following folders in the NAVIGON folder on my SD-card: Contacts, Routes, Sounds, Favorites, Settings. And the Navigon Fresh program can not detect my device. Should there be any more folders or files on the card? Where can I get them in case somethings are missing?

How do you move your memory from phone to sd card?

  • 1 Insert your new SD card into your cell phone. For most devices, you will have to slide the card into a slot on the side of the phone or remove the battery and insert the card into an encasement. Replace the battery (in the latter case) and boot up the phone.
  • 2 Connect the cell phone to a computer using a USB cord (make sure the cord is compatible with your particular mobile device). This cord sometimes comes in the package when you buy a new phone.
  • 3

Wait for the computer to recognize your new hardware (the phone). A dialog box will appear asking you for instructions regarding the new portable device. Click the option to open your device's file folder. You should see a folder for the media card and your device memory.

  • 4 Go to the device folder first and select all of the files and folders that you want to transfer to the SD card. Press "Ctrl" and "X" to cut the files from that folder.
  • 5 Navigate back to the media card folder. Press "Ctrl" and "V" to paste the files onto the SD card.

How to factory default Mc75 device

    Resetting the MC75

There are two reset functions, warm boot and cold boot. A warm boot restarts the MC75 by closing all running

programs. A cold boot also restarts the MC75, and also resets the clock. Data saved in flash memory or a memory

    card is not lost.

If the MC75 is not functioning properly, perform a warm boot first. If the MC75 still does not respond, perform a cold

    boot.

    Performing a Warm Boot

Hold down the Power button for approximately five seconds. As soon as the MC75 starts to boot release the

    Power button.

    Performing a Cold Boot
To perform a cold boot simultaneously press the Power button and the 1 and 9 keys.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

My Navigon 7100 no longer speaks the street names after I downloaded the latest software updates.

I had the same problem and this fixed it: Connect the navigon to your computer and go into the files directory and create 3 new empty folders, as follows: (You may want to back up your navigon 1st) After i created these empty folders, I was able to go into settings and turn Stree names on

Create these empty folders within MN6\sound folder.

How can you import pictures in inbox on cell phone to the microchip SD 2gb inserted in phone?

Micro SD cards for cell phones are now costing less and are holding more memory. 4GB SD cards can hold an estimated 1000 songs, over 13,000 images, or 22 hours of video individually. 2GB memory cards hold roughly half those estimates and 8GB SD cards would hold double. So if your cell phonemag-glass_10x10.gif has a SD card slot learn how to utilize this expandable memory option on your device. Follow these steps and you will soon be enjoying your music, pictures, and video on your phone!
    1. Insert your SD memory card adaptor (with micro SD card inserted) into your SD Card drive on your computer. This should open a "Secure Digital Storage Device" or similar window. If not, go to "My Computer" to locate your SD card and open it.
    2. Step 2 To transfer picture files to your SD memory card, open the folder or file that your pictures are stored on. Simply click and drag a file or multiple files and drop them into your SD Card window or folder. You can also copy a picture and then paste it to the SD Card.
    3. Step 3 To transfer music files to your SD memory card, open your "My Music" folder. Select the folder where you are going to get the music from (Itunes, Yahoo Music...). Click, drag, and drop the files into the SD Card window or copy and paste them in.
    4. Step 4 To transfer video files to your SD memory card, open your "My Videos" folder. Select the folder where you are going to get the video from. Click, drag, and drop the files into the SD Card window or copy and paste them in.
    5. Step 5 Take out the SD memory card adaptor from its drive. Remove the Micro SD card (small chip for your phone) and insert it into the SD Card drive on your Blackberry, IPhone, or other compatible cell phone.
    6. Step 6 Go to your media, picture, or music folder in your cell phonesmag-glass_10x10.gif menu. Select which item you are looking for and your files will appear!

    HP IPAQ POCKET PC

    1st approach (Quick one!)

    1. Soft reset your device
    2. make a backup copy of the folder \SD-MMCard\MSMETADATA if exists.
    3. delete the folder \SD-MMCard\MSMETADATA.
    4. Soft reset your device once again.

    2nd approach (Long one!)

If 1st approach did not work, restore the MSMETADATA folder and try the following:

    Step Zero: BACKUP
    - Make a full backup of your device (including storage cards). If you don't like to do a full backup keep at least a backup of all files and folders we are going to delete as indicated below:

    Step One
-In the main device directory delete the file WMPInfo.xml
-Delete the \Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player\ directory and all of
the files in it including the WMDRM folder.
    -Delete the \Music folder

    Step Two
-Go to your SD card main directory and delete the file WMPInfo.xml
    -Delete the folder \SD-MMCard\MSMETADATA
    -Delete the folder \SD-MMCard\WMDRM
    -Delete the folder \SD-MMCard\Music

    Step Three
-Repeat step two for any other storage cards.

    Step Four
-Refresh devices in WMP and the storages card should show up in the left tab
and in the sync window you can click "Next Device"

    Hope this helps...

    SD card problem

The most likely cause for the RED CROSS is that some files are missing or corrupted on the SD card. This can also occur if someone has accidently dragged and dropped files on the SD card. ie. if a folder or file has been accidently dropped into a different folder. For instance you could drag and drop the maps folder into the voices folder. In this case the unit wouldn't load up if you had no maps although the maps would still be on the SD card but would be in the wrong place. We all know that files on media can be damaged or become corrupted so its always worth making a GOOD BACKUP of any sd card so that should this problem arise you can reinstall the backup.
If you have no luck with your SD card , you could try borrowing a card off someone you know and make a copy of it then activate that copy by using the original activation code together with the device code. .... good luck .
