Hello cantrell_m,
Sears appliance parts can supply you with the part you need. You will need to provide the model #. Here is their phone # (800) 252-1698.

I hope this is helpful for you. Positive feedback for me is appreciated. Thank you! NormanZ

What are the dimensions on a Kenmore 363.14192992 dishwasher?

Dishwashers that are installed into standard kitchen cabinets have a standard width and depth of 60 cm (Europe) or 24 inches (US), and most dishwashers must be installed into a hole a minimum of 86 cm (Europe) or 34 inches (US) tall. Portable dishwashers exist in 45 and 60 cm (Europe) 18 and 24 inch (US) widths, with casters and attached countertops. Dishwashers may come in standard or tall tub designs; standard tub dishwashers have a service kickplate beneath the dishwasher door that allows for simpler maintenance and installation, but tall tub dishwashers have approximately 20% more capacity and better sound dampening from having a continuous front door.

Remove kick plate

Tip the unit back and put your hand under each side in turn underneath, the kickplate is held on via clips near each front foot (the retainer lug is part of the kickplate) this will release it. To reinstall offer the kickplate up under the door panel and give the bottom a push to relocate the clips.

Clean light flashes continuously. None of the cycles work except drain.

Might help if you provide the model number of the dishwasher.

It is likely the float switch at base of dishwasher is cutting in. Have you tried to turn the power off and back on.

Need model no.

How do you stabilize a kenmore dishwasher not to move

Greetings,

open the door and there should be two brackets that screw into the counter to hold the top. I would remove lower kickplate and you will find legs that you can move up or down,...I would set your d/w in place and scew the legs up to desired position...Then, screw brackets into top above d/w..this will hold d/w into place..if your happy with my answer. please let me know....thank you,

How to install new door spring on portable dishwasher

Things You'll Need:
  • Owner's manual
  • Screwdriver
  • Replacement spring (optional)
  1. Turn off the power to your Kenmore dishwasher before attempting any repairs. If you have a portable Kenmore dishwasher, you can just unplug the power cord from the wall. Built-in dishwashers are hard-wired into the cabinet, so you will have to turn off the breaker switch at the home's circuit breaker box to cut the power.
  2. 2 Remove the screws that hold the kickplate onto the lower front of the Kenmore dishwasher. Take the kickplate off to access the door springs.
  3. Check the door springs to make sure they have not come loose from the door support or the adjustment holes on the dishwasher. Re-attach any ends that have slipped off their connections.
  4. Replace the springs if they are connected at both ends but still do not have enough tension to support the weight of the door. Once a Kenmore dishwasher door spring is stretched out, it cannot be restored to its original condition. Unhook one end of the old spring from the adjustment hole. Unhook the other end from the door support and discard the spring. Insert one end of the replacement spring into the adjustment hole and the other end into the hook on the door support.
  5. Open and close the door a few times to make sure the spring is now working properly. The door should not bounce up and down or sag on the hinges when it is in the open position.
  6. Restore power to your Kenmore dishwasher by plugging it back in or turning on the switch at the home's circuit breaker panel.

How to disconnect

Hi,
To disconnect ....remove the kickplate...after turning off the electric and water...remove the electric wire from the dishwasher by opening the e;electric box and undoing the wires...also remove the water pipe/hose from the inlet valve...then remove the drain hose from the drain and makes sure that it will not catch as you pull out the dishwasher...then remove the two screws that hold the dishwasher fast to the countertop and the pull the dishwasher straight out from under the countertop...

How do i power my new kenmore dishwasher?

You have to take the bottom kickplate off and the electrics box is on the right side. It has a cover on it held on by one 1/4 inch hex head screw. You have to attach the power wires to the dishwasher wires with wire nuts and the ground wire to the ground screw inside the electrical box. All this information is in your installation manual. Read it.
