You should be able to purchase the printer cable from a local office supply store. Before shopping check to see which kind you would need. The most popular ones are the old kind with tiny pins, but most printers have a small almost square slot. Be sure to check the connection prior to purchasing. If you get the wrong kind you should be able to return it but would be inconvenient.

Thelma, if I knew what model you had so I could look it up and that its available, i could put the internet address to where you can find it, or if you know where the manual is online, just go to a UPS store or Fedex store and tell them you want to print the manual and give them the internet address so they can go to it.

The last I knew manuals must be purchased from Sears

it would be helpful if we knew what make and model printer you have!!

Hi Susie,

The ink absorber is inside and does just that...absorb "waste ink". Once these fill, it is suggested to find a service center to replace it. However, you may want to consider just purchasing a new printer due to the cost of such an expense. Combine that with the cost of ink and the high consumption that most people experience with this model and it may just pay to purchase a new one.

I know that is probably not what you were expecting, but that is my best suggestion.

I am in the process of installing anew hp j6480 all in one printer on my new hp pavillon computer. First problem their is no in struction manual. I picked up 60 pages at the store were i purchased the equipment.before their printer died. I need to get balance of instructions. Second proplem I cannot install Ink jet cartridges.They seem to jam on top of insert. Worked with same cartridges at the store and had no trouble installing them

Purchase you a repair manual from Auto Zone purchase the switch assembly from ebay or from a salvage yard and replace it yourself. I was just lkie my wife, I knew where to put the gas, unless it was full service. Then I purchased a 1996 Mercury, purchased a repair manual and being doing all my work on the car.

I assume your model is a Stylus Photo 780 (even though the problem category was listed under Epson R1800).
