I have an Aiptek AHD 200 camcorder. The blue light is blinking and also on the LCD appear just the macro sign and zoom level which are blinking. How can I start the cam again ?

digital zoom is different from optical zoom. when using digital zoom, you have to keep the camera very, very, very still. may even have to use a tripod.
try to run by installing the driver software of your camcorder. The searching do not find out because the computer do not know about the hardware. after installing the driver software, than only you can suceed..............and you can get the driver from any of the download website......
have a nice day :-)
Exactly the same thing happend to me with my brand-new Aiptek. Turns out it was the no-name brand SD card that I got from China which destroyed it. Aiptek was kind enough to replace it for free since it was under warranty. Aiptek's caution: Stick to brands like SanDisk, Dane-Elec, Kingston, Transcend or PNY. Purchase from resellers like Target, Best Buy, Newegg.com or Amazon.com. Avoid MINI & MACRO style cards. NO Sandisk Ultra II or Extreme III, class 6. AVOID Hi-SPEED!
Try using the macro infinity switch on the camera, this will help a tiny bit, other than that the camera only has X3 zoom... not much.
Hope this helped, Snowsurfer58
Sounds like maybe a connection somewhere inside the camera came loose? Or maybe the camera's firmware (camera's operating system) is damaged? I'm honestly not sure what would cause this. You could try contacting Aiptek customer service or you could post this issue at http://forums.steves-digicams.com/forums/view_forum.php?id=92
and see if anyone there is familiar with this problem.
