You need to get the hardware's driver. Look on your sound card and type the information (s/n, model number) into google and get the driver for it. I hope this helps!

Is it possible that I can install 3 different sound cards on 1 PC?

Yes, You can install 3 different sound cards on one PC, but you cannot use all 3 at the same time. You can use any one of them at a time. You will have to set one default sound device to listen music. If you want to use all of them then one thing you can do is, you can connect 2 or 3 different speaker sets for each sound device.
Hope the above information will be helpful to you. Thanks for contacting Fixya. Have a good day.

Threre must be a problem with your device driver you can reinstall device driver from the cd provided by your motherboard company or note the name of driver and search internet and download and install it.There may be a chance that your device may get burned or busted solve it by buy new sound card.

No sound

Maybe the sound driver of your laptop is not installed. You need to check the device manager if the driver are installed. If you can see that the driver is not installed get your motherboard driver and install the sound driver.

No sound at all on my pc

it is most probably you have sometimes accidently muted the speaker
to check it first go to control panel and select sound and audio devices and see if it is muted
or go to the device manager (right click on my computer and select device manager from the hardware tab) and see if the driver is properly installed
if not properly installed download the sound driver from the homepage of your pc's company. and from the device manager right click on the sound drive and then update the driver and give the path for the drive as the location whre you have saved the downloaded file

No volume or sound for my Laptop

Please check to see if your sound card is installed/enabled, then check to see if the sound files are set to open with that device. Your computer should already have a media player installed (if you're using Windows). Set your music files to open with the media player.

What is your motherboard type and model? If you purchased your computer a brand new unit,a CD installerforit device drivers shouldcome with it. If you have that Device driver installer CD,try installing from the CD device installer that came with your new PC.
