I havent tried what you said about jumpers yet, because I dont know much about them, but I will try it soon.
I did some research and maybe I found the cause of the problem.
On the site regarding supported VGA cards for my mobo , they say " turbo cache pci-e x16 are not recommended."
could this be the cause? because this card says Turbo Cache technology. Have you ever heard of this kind of compability issue?

edit: I cleared the cmos and made this normal operation thing , I Didnt see any VGA jumper, either on the mobo nor on the manual.

Check for bios jumper set for normal operation, check for onboard vga jumper set for pci or external video.

9400Gt won't work anymore

Hello tainted feat,

Please download DriverSweeper:
http://downloads.guru3d.com/Guru3D---Driver-Sweeper-(Setup)_d1655.html
Reboot into SafeMode and select the Nvidia drivers and PhysX. Select only those. Do not delete the chipset drivers. Reboot into normal mode and then go here to download drivers.

This should work. Good luck

Blank screen after grapics card installtion

NO NO NO!
The 7900 is vastly superior to the 8500gt!
the 8500gt is a low end budget card not suitable for demanding games- return it get rid of it, that is a massive step down form the 7900. Its likegoing from a 7900 to a 7600 or worse!

Installed PCI-e vid card

U need to insure that the new Vid card is compatible to Ur pc. Does the pc power up without the new Vid card? If so it sounds like the card may be defective and shorts out the pc power supply.

Xfx 7950gt agp 512mb

Hi, if you have got the drivers for this v/card then load them while you have your present one in place, if you dont have the drivers then go to the manufacturers website and get them . when you have loaded the drivers then check if you need to enable any changes in your bios. Change the card and if it is functional then you should have solved your problem. A card that advanced needs drivers far greater than you would find in XP. Regards mistyman
