Heres what mine did:no picture no sound, when i hit the remote the indicator light went out....piece of crap is six months old, cant find any info on it, cant get a hold of anyone at Trutech.
So i took it apart, on the board that the power cord is attached to, i found six blown capacitors. There is also a big ass one in the middle of that board which looked ok but blew out the bottom.I replaced them, and im watching it as i type.
Its fairly easy but if your not comfortable soldering on a cheap circuit board, take it to someone.
I hope it helps, i think this repair will fix the other Trutech models with the same problems.

Fixya Greasmonk! The big capacitor, 150uF 450v, was bulged on the bottom. Seems capacitors are usually the problem. I didn't believe it until I unsoldered it and saw the bottom bulged out. http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii209/fillmore85welder/100_2768.jpg

Just found the Manufacturers website to file complaints to it is
www.18002526123.com maybe if we all bombard them with the threat of a law suit and complaints we can get our TV's fixed or our money back

Is anyone with a broken 2620 willing to sell it to me? Mine actually didn't wear out or burn out - i busted the screen while moving and now the lcd is a fractured mess. Contact me at email@example.com if interested! thanks in advance

I agree with solution #3 we shoud start a class action against target for selling this junk and they know it ain't no good. I had the same problem after six months target wouldn't do anything they gave me a 1-800 number to the manufacture who in turn gave me the run around I had to ship the television to them at my exspense and also send it with a 80 dollar check in order for them to fix it lets just say I filed the claim with them in march 24th I just recieved my televison today May 6th this was an experience that I don't care to relive I will never buy any electronics from target and i discourage anyone i know from doing the same it is a rip off big time the brand sucks.....
