Check the water level switch, it is acting too early and shutting down the inlet valve before time.

You say it says water flowing. But, is it flowing? Does it overflow? If so it may be overflow switch on the bottom that got food stuff in it.

Fill fault is blinking but tub is filled with water

It is possible the water pressure is low and the dishwasher takes too long to fill. Check water pressure setting in dishwasher HI or Lo and also make sure the tap under the kitchen sink is fully open and no kinks in inlet hose.

Draw wont fill with water

You have not provided the model number of the dishwasher.
If the inlet tap under kitchen is open fully and the problem is still there, there are two likely issues - the water pressure setting does not match mains pressure or the inlet water valve in the dishwasher is faulty.

Bosch dishwasher SHE46C06UC won't fill with water

Check water inlet. Check for kinks in hose. Check the inline strainer in the fill solenoid. You say it makes an attempt to fill, is this because you can hear water trickling? If so I would suggest get to g the fill solenoid replaced as it may be blocked or not opening fully

Is there any way to get more water or higher pressure to my Frigidaire 300 Series dishwasher? The water in the kitchen has good pressure, but we can't get enough into dishwasher. Chip

Make sure the water supply valve to the dishwasher is fully open. There may be a internal main valve trouble restricting the water flow. Disassemtle to fix.

Dishwashers are typically filled by one of two methods: (1) time and (2) water level. Time (the solenoid valve is opened for a certain amount of time to let water in) is the most common because it is the cheapest method. Better washers sense the level of the water and fill until the sensor is satisfied (like in your cloths washer)

Whats happens in a time controlled machine if you have good flow? The extra water goes down the drain, a wasteful, expensive process.

I suggest you make sure the dishwasher main valve is fully open (close the valve about 1/8th of a turn after fully open). If you still have a problem, check the strainer on the solenoid input valve. If it is there it may be clogged. Looks like the same washer with strainer you would typically fine in a clothing washer fill. Be prepared to replace it anyway. You may have a different connection arrangement.

Next step would be to check the solenoid valve to see it is fully opening.

If yours is a time fill, the timer MIGHT be of some concern but I doubt it. I would lean more toward the things I mentioned above.

If yours is a water level sensor type, you should check the water level sensor for proper operation. Typically, there will be a float of some kind in the bottom of the machine.

I hope this gives you food for thought. Good luck on your project and thanks for visiting

Dishwasher- dishes not clean

Thanks for using FixYa. First of all please check the Water temperature by using a thermometer inside the dishwasher to measure the water temp. It should be as close to 125 degree F to 140 degree F as possible. Now try using the temperature boost feature if your dishwasher is equipped with this cycle feature and check if this will help your wash ability issues.

Now check the Powder soap by making sure that you store your soap in a dry environment and it is not stale and clumping together. Possibly try a different detergent like a liquid or gel. Also, make sure the dishes are loaded properly, or dishwasher is not overloaded.

To check the proper filling dishwasher will fill with water up to and around the heating element. If water is more below the heating element, you may have low water pressure or a problem with the fill valve. Try & listen if it sounds like it is spraying the water around with enough pressure.

For low water pressure, try to clean the screen at the entrance of the fill valve, sometimes the fill valve can fail and not allow the proper water into the dishwasher and may need to be replaced. And, check the spray arm and pump cover for splits or leaks. Also make sure that the water is draining and is not accumulated in the dishwasher, if it is in dishwasher then check for clogged drain hoses and drain pump.

Low water fills are a very common trouble maker with today's dishwasher.

Please do rate this solution and revert for further assistance.

Dishwasher not filling

Make sure you get water to the dishwasher. Check to see if the water shut-off valve (located under the sink) is open. If you get water to the dishwasher, but there is still no water inside during the fill cycle, the problem might be with a faulty water valve (located at the bottom of the dishwasher, behind the kick panel, on either side), in which case replace the water valve.

Dishwasher filles up with water between running it. I have to run the drain cycle at least once or twice daily. I have shut off the water valve to it for now.

sounds like the water valve is leaking. If there is some dirt in the valve it will cause it to not fully seal and shut off. If the hapens water will leak by. Replace the inlet valve and your dishwasher will not fill when its not in use
