This can be in two ways namely 1. Via Bluetooth Ensure your bluetooth connectivity is on and also enabled on your PC,Choose the picture or video u want to send, Select More and then Send Select Via Bluetooth and then choose your computer from the list. OR 2. using the USB cable. For pictures and videos, u use Files transfer. File Transfer allows you to drag and drop files from your phone to folders on your computer. To do this, a.Connect your W595 to your computer with the USB cable. b.On your phone's Menu screen select Settings and then scroll across to the Connectivity tab. c. Scroll down to USB and then select USB Connection d.Select File Transfer. Your phone will shut down.Wait until your phone memory or memory card appear as external disks on your computer in Windows Explorer. then,You can now drag and drop music files (For Disk2Phone music software) or pictures, to folders on your computer. Hope this helps you.
Basically, you need a compatible USB cable that would connect this phone into your computer. The cable can be purchased from shops such as Radioshack - remember to bring your phone and show it to them just so you're 100% sure that you got the right cable.
Once obtained, connect your phone into your computer. You'll be given options on the screen of your phone - select "File Transfer". Launch Windows explorer to drag and drop pictures from your computer to your phone's memory card.
Yes, there is no need for the Sony disc in order to get this done. For your convenience, I've included the link to the user's manual below :
You can transfer photos from a phone to a computer via USB cable. In
the computer, the phone will be visible as a removable drive to which
you can drag and drop or cut/copy and paste your photos. I hope this helps.
Since you say that your computer can read your memory card, you could try puting a sim into your phone temporarily and then backing up your contacts onto your memory card...sony ericsson phones do provide you with that option. The procedure is:
Phonebook--options--more--advanced--back up to memory card.
Hope it helps,

Hi. before connecting ur sony ericsson mobile to ur computer for transfer of songs and pictures u should first install the sony ericsson software CD. This CD will be provided along with ur purchase of mobile. after installing that software CD u are enabled to transfer pictures to ur computer..
go to sony ericsson site and download media mgr
BUT your phone needs a memory card. I transferred one song and I cannot get it to work again even with memory card. My daughter said to put card into a adapter which I have and use a card reader or something like that you buy at radio shack. So you transfer music to the memory card via the cable and reader thingy, then put the card back into the phone. Simple? heck no. The phone propaganda makes it sound like you hook the phone to your computer with its USB, downl media mgr and just drag and drop. Let me know if this fantasy comes true for any of you!
you have the option of transferring musinc files to you phone memory or to your memory card. however, it is recommended that you use the memory card when storing large files like mp3s.
when transferring files from your pc to your memory card, you can use a bluetooth connection (note: you need a bluetooth donggle to do this), or via a data cable (should be included in the package when you bought the phone - just follow the instructions in the accompanying cd when installing the software). with these two options, you can now transfer your music files to your phone.
another option is by directly transferring the music files to the memory card using a card reader that is attached to your pc. your memory card will be detected as a removable drive when doing this. you can easily click and drag (or copy) your files to your memory card.
you have to first install the cd software that came with the phone.....then when that is done connect the phone to pc via usb cable, then switch it to file transfer then transfer from music-photos to the phone memory or memory card........
