That is your Hard Drive. The 2 screws to right will let you slide it to the right and lift it out.The larger panel with the fan in the upper left corner will allow you to access the RAM. There are 2 RAM slots just below (not under!!) the fan. They have metal clips to hold the RAM strips in place and are staggered like steps.Ground yourself!!! to avoid ESD damage to parts...Hope this helps
