I've tried charging the battery, but all I get is the LG logo blinking off and on every 5 seconds or so. Nothing seems to affect the blinking. If I pull the battery, it will stop. But replacing the battery causes the same blinking activity. HELP! Am I dealing with a defective phone?

This problem will occur due to defect in the integerated chip present inside the phone............no other go you should replace the integerated chip

SOURCE: My LG KP500 won't start up - It just keeps flashing the logo.

I had the same issue with my KP500's screen flashing the logo.
The best way to resolve this is take it back to where you brought it from. They will send it off (which they did with mine) for a software upgrade and within a week you will have it back with no more issues and at no cost to you.

There is no quick fix solution. If you mess with the phone it voids your warranty.

Push down your Home Button and your Lock Button at the same time for about 10 seconds or until you see the apple logo. This will restart your phone and should resolve your problem!

Hi Zoetic,

Looks like a charging issue, tryh the following:

1. Connect the Reader to the computer
2. Hit the Reset at the bottom for 3 seconds
3. Make sure a redlight comes on at the top of the unit
4. Leave the reader charging for about 15 minutes or half an hour
5. Disconnect the reader and check if its functional now
6. If not try the reset again

Press and hold the Home button and the Power button for about 30 seconds until you see the Apple logo, then let go. It should power on. If not, plug in to your computer and perform a Restore from iTunes.

My LG KS360 won't turn on even when i charge it

You should try taking out the battery and then putting it back in. Then hold the power (the red phone button) button for about 5-7 seconds. If the screen STILL doesn't show, then I'm afraid that there is a hardware problem and you should take it back to the place where you bought it.
