Why is there a H+ above my signal bars? it has not been there befor.

Make sure you have at least two bars of signal strength before attempting calls or data transfer. You may have to sit near a window.

You responded that you have 3-4 bars of signal. I suggest you visit your carrier's place of business (AT&T, Verizon, etc.). Demonstrate the problem to the representative there.

It's based on dBM and asu and not the bars you actually see. Even if you may see fewer bars you could have equal quality. The phones, based on different OS may be calibrated a little differently. It's best to contact your service provider and verify....

1. Your SIM is properly programmed.
2. Your PRL is updated
3. You have a recent SIM

Go to your menu and find your signal strength bar.It's possible that your dish has shifted.The bar should read at least 60% or above.

Did you place the Wii remote signal bar above/below your TV? You don't mention it in your question so I'm assuming you haven't. If that is the case just plus the receptor bar in your wii and place above or below the tv and you will be fine.

set the wireless router in better coverage performance instead of better power management in the root menu of the wireless router.(seen in the properties tab)

For video call to work, you have to be in a 3G covered area. This means that the icon over your signal level bar must be full and have 3G written in it. It wont work if it is running on a low 3G band (the signal bars must be full) a GSM band (a G logo above the bars) or HSDPA band ( a H logo above the bars).

I don't know why even though HSDPA is faster than 3G but the viewty will only allow video call to take place when 3G is available.

I've heard it can also be dependant on your service provider, as PAYG sim cards sometimes wont allow video calls.

First thing ensure that the TomTom is fullly charged using the home charger.
Press the small reset button on the base (700) or do a factory reset.
The other thing to try is tap the GPS signal bars to go to the configure and check in the top right hand corner there is a circle with yellow and black esgments if this is moving then your TomTom is looking for a signal. Move around and you should find that the bars at the bottom will start to move and the small screen on the right will start to indicate circles. When the bars start to move you are getting GPS signals when the bars change to blue there you have a coordination for your position. Some areas are worse than others so move out of your house if after doing above does not get a signal

Signal on xm is full power (3 bars) stations 1 - 75. All stations 0 to 1 bar above station. Just started happening 2 days ago.
