My truck was in the body shop for 3 month battery was unhooked they had to replace the air bag on the passanger now the radio works the cd player works but the sirius radio part of the radio doesnt what...

I know with satellite TV boxes like DirecTV and Dish Network, if they're "out of the stream" either unhooked from the satellite cable or unplugged for an extended term, they change the card codes a bit and their boxes need a "hit" from them. Basically DTV or Dish just sends down an update for your box / card. I think your satellite radio may have a similar issue. Call Sirius and explain your problem, they should be able to give your receiver a "hit" or an update and if that's the problem, you'll be up and working again.

Media xpander light is on radio wont do anything

try unhooking the battery from your car for an hour or so, if youre really feeling springy take the deck out and disconnect the power from there. if that doesnt work, call alpine ha. they may send you a brand new deck.

Alpine Mp3/CD Player

hmmm if you bought the alpine deck originally your best bet might be to call them, and see about getting it properly repaired. otherwise, check craigslist or ebay for broken alpine decks with the tilt function. should be pretty easy to fix. also you could open up the cd player and check to see if maybe something just slipped off.

Audi alpine cd changer

  1. if you are handy at fixing things unhook the cd player, unbolt it, carefully remove screws holding the unit and remove the actual cd player, now remove many tiny screws to open the unit out of the case, look for various wheels and try to turn them, do not force any of them. usually the wheel allowing the motion to move to various tracks on cd gets locked. if you can move it, most likely you solved your problem. put evrything back in the same order.
  2. Good luck.
