we are talking about ASUS not ATI, but thanks anyway.

  • Noam K Jul 14, 2009

Well, now I know why is it happening,
The monitor thinks the "menu" button is still pressed.
after 6 seconds of pressing this button, it shows "Enable OverDrive" pop up.
    I don't know the solution.
    Can someone help? please?

  • Noam K Jul 14, 2009

The problem is that this Enable OverDrive pop up pops every time, and that's because the Menu button is still pressed, I don't have to press it and that's the problem, I want the Menu button to not be pressed.

Do you mean, broken from inside? because its looks o.k from outside. and it started suddenly, I didn't touched this button.

    try this:

You can try disable/enable ‘Overdrive’ by holding the Menu button for eight seconds and highlight the selection you want.

Sony vaio all in one touchscreen stopped working

XP and Vista Normal Mode Start your computer as you normally would. Click the "My Computer" icon on your desktop. Go to "C:\ Program Files\Sony\Setting Utility Series." Find and choose the "VCCPointingDevice" folder in the "Setting Utilities Series folder" to open the "Built-in Pointing Device" dialog box. Locate the "Enable" box on the "Built-in Pointing Device" dialog box. Check the box to enable the Vaio touchpad if you wish to use this device. Disable the touchpad if it is interfering with the external mouse. Uncheck the "Enable" box if you have a USB (PS/2) mouse connecting to your Vaio and wish to use that instead of the built-in touchpad. Pick "Yes, I'm Sure" when prompted to activate your choice, then close all the windows. Windows 7 Normal Mode Launch Windows as usual. Go to "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Mouse" > "Pointing Device" to open the Vaio touchpad control center. Uncheck the "Enable" box on the "Pointing Device" window when you wish to use your external mouse. Check the "Enable" box on the "Pointing Device" window when you want to use the Sony Vaio touchpad. Make sure the external mouse is not interfering with the touchpad if you have one connected. If so, unplug the mouse from your computer. Click the "OK" button at the bottom of the "Pointing Device" window. Close all other windows. XP and Vista Safe Mode Restart your computer. Press the F8 key before the Windows welcome screen appears to enter Safe Mode. Click "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Add/Remove Programs." Find and delete all software for mice and pointing devices. Restart your computer in normal Windows mode. Proceed to next step if the problem persists. Restart your computer in Safe Mode. Right click the "My Computer" icon on the desktop. Choose "Properties" on the drop-down list. Pick the "Device Manager" tab in the Properties window. Select the "Other Devices" folder and click on the "+" sign besides it. Delete all the devices under this "+" sign by clicking on the "Remove" button next to each of the items. Restart Windows in Normal Mode. Once Windows is operating, there will be a "New Hardware Wizard" pop-up that will load all the necessary drivers for the touchpad, mouse and other pointing devices. This should fix the corrupt driver for your Vaio touchpad. Windows 7 Safe Mode Reboot your computer and press the F8 key before the Windows welcome screen appears to enter Safe Mode. Go to "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Device Manager" > "Mice and other pointing devices." Click the touchpad icon. Choose the "Driver" tab and press the "Uninstall" button. Press the "OK" button to confirm. Restart Windows in Normal Mode. Go to "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Device Manager" > "Mice and other pointing devices." Choose the "Driver" tab and press the "Update" button. Press the "OK" button to fix the touchpad software.

Turned it on and everythink has frozen. the screen sais philips and non of the buttons are working.

It may have only 'locked up;' pull the AC plug and ignore it overnight. This may not help but won't hurt anything and if it is a lockup, it may clear itself.

The Enable Overdrive menu pops up on the screen when i turn it on and it wont go away. ive checked to see no buttons are stuck in aswell but it will not go away

are you sure it isnt software installed on your pc that is displaying the overdrive menu . Check to see if you have it installed, as as far i can recall there is no overdrive program for monitors. They are used to overclock the cpu of your computer

I dont know how to dowload java on pSP

This is how you enable JavaScript on the PSP, for use while in the internet browser:

  1. Step 1 Choose "Tools" on the PSP home screen by pressing the "X" button.
  2. Step 2 Choose "Settings."
  3. Step 3 Select "JavaScript" from the "Settings" list.
  4. Step 4 Choose "Enable JavaScript" and then select "Yes." Press the "O" button to close the "Settings" screen and finish the procedure.
There are a couple of ports for running JAVA on the psp, in various stages of development. BlueKVM is one of them, and you can see it here and here. Of course, this is called homebrew programming, and will only run on psp's running custom firmware. Sony does not officially have support for java on the psp.

I choose a video clip , the page shows up then only blank or black screen shows up

It may be cause of different reasons, at first you should find the source of problem.Maybe your OS, maybe your Browser, Your connection, Your Flash player, and maybe youtube! So, at first I suggest you to install latest version of flash player from adobe website, Also check that by other browsers like IE, Firefox, Safari, Opera and ... .
check this way:
1. Right-click in the standard youtube video window (non-full screen). 2. Choose 'Settings...' from the Flash Player's pop-up menu. 3. Uncheck the 'Enable Hardware Acceleration' 4. Click 'Close'.
Full-screen should now work, or at least it did for me. Some kind of Flash incompatibility with latest Firefox build, it would seem. I am running vista, so maybe that has something to do with it, as well.
Good luck!
