Question about Computers & Internet
There are several vertical lines on my LCD screen of my IBM R50e ThinkPad. Actualy there were only few lines but gradually it increased now I can't use the left portion of my screen. These lines appeares only in 5 seconds after I booted my laptop. Some of the lines are permanent.
Possible loose connection from the inverter to the screen. you can try pushing the edges of the screen cover towords the center working your way around the problem area especially. But it could be just a bad inverter. Can you hook it up to external monitor? That will tell you if problem is before or after inverter.
