I noticed a long time ago that there seemed to be water dripping from my Kirkland Signature/Whirlpool washing machine. This seemed to resolve on its own. Today, I noticed that water was dripping very quickly from a white plastic housing (2-3 hoses attatch to it - maybe the water pump). The dripping occurs if the washer is off or filling, it seems to stop when the spin cycle goes. I even turned off the water to the machine and the drip continued. Please help.

It is possible that your lid switch is defective. Bypass the switch and try again-Please unplug your machine while you bypass switch. If it still does not drain the I would suspect your timer. Lid switch Part# 3949247 Timer Part# 3955651 http://www.on-timeappliance.com/washingmachinerepair.html
did you clean out the duct that the lint filter slides down into?also remove the vent line from the back of dryer and start it,if it blows strong you still have something in the vent line, stick a leaf blower into the vent line and blow it out to the outside,if the vent is clear then you know there's a block in the dryer or you have a bad blower wheel,if the wheel is bad when you first start it you might hear the blower wheel banging around or make a sound that isn't supposed to be there,i don't know what a kirkland dryer is so next time open the door and send the model number off of the dryer.
HI, any resistance when turning the impeller in this case will confirm pump failure. these motor should have very slight resistance when manually rotated. the unit will not initiate a full cycle if the pump is defective. replace the pump asap.
broken coupler. device between motor and gearcase, look under washer behind the motor for small plastic and rubber coupler. may be worn or broken. cheap part/fairly simple fix. parts house will run ou through the process or i can provide details when you are ready.
Hello, you may have a small drip from the pump or a small drip from the hose that goes from the pump to the rear of the cabinet. To make sure you will have to run the unit with the cabinet removed. A local service tech can remove the cabinet quicklyand isolate the leak.
Let me add that the dripping is coming from the front and center of the machine.
Thanks in advance.
