Code PO452 keeps coming up a day later. Where is the carbon canister and purge valve located??? Checking on line all I get is Toyota or GM threads popping up, hell I have a Ford Escape. EVAP pressure sensor require dropping the gas tank to replace? I'll check hoses for leaks as well electrical connections before going deeper replacing the pressure sensor. Thanks all.
You most likely have a problem with the emission control system on your car which a few components between the gas tank and exhaust manifold. The code you are getting is P0452 which is "Evap Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input". Testimonial: "I was looking for a diaphragm or photos of the carbon canister location as well the pressure sensor and pressure controlling solenoid valve. Get in quick not totally blind, not what I wanted to do as this is my daughter's college vehicle on the run daily. Without sounding like a jerk I appreciate your reply. With Fluke 87 meter, OBD2.com code reader/delete, A&P license plus being a retired IBEW electrician I can deal with this plastic age vehicle to a limit. I would rather play with my 95 LR Discovery (4.6L chip, cam, 5 spd) of OBD-1 or the 68 F250 w/484" MPI FE engine any day. Thanks in advance."
