I have a Sony Wega 55-inch LCD that is about 3 1/2 years old, so I know the bulb has to be close to going out. But it is blacking out -- started a couple of days ago, but frequency is now about once every couple minutes -- and the lamp indicator is NOT on. Do you think it is the bulb, despite the fact the indicator is not on??

The LED light "LAMP" indication stay on or flashes in this problems?Yes,the projection lamp is the causes and problems.Change the projection lamp,should solved the problems.

Also, I did not mention that the sound goes out as well. The green light stays on, and NO indicators are flashing.
