Question about Mad Dog Multimedia MD-5216CDR (20681870) CD-RW/DVD-ROM (Combo) Burner
I have experienced the exact same error on my system. However, i only happened with DVD's and not CD's. So I tried a few more DVD's, got the same error. Decided to gove it one more try, and the next disc worked! Burnt very slowly but it did eventually finish. The one after that worked as well.
I suspect it's the media (Discs) you are using may have some factory defects with them. Try another disc from the same pile, or eve better, buy a different brand and try those.
Hope that helps,
