Question about Stoves Ovens
Seems that the Clock mechanism will not set (keeps flashing for Auto) and this seems to prevent oven from turning on. Cannot turn overn on. Tried everything in the manual to fix clock - no avail. Returned home from w/end to find the time (clock) flashing as though the power had gone off - but it hadn't.

Depending on the make of oven, you have to press the buttons in a certain sequence if it is a digital one, try pressing the buttons in sequence, sometimes you have to press 2 together, and a third one at the same time,if it is a anologue timer, then make sure you can see the symbol of a hand in the display.
If you cannot get the timer of auto, then it is probably faulty.

I had exactly the same problem. I followed the directions to reset the clock. That is the cooking button and finish cooking button. They look like a caserole dish and a casserole dish with a cross through it. Hold them down at the same time and the + and - button to advance the time. Be aware I had to try this a few times before it worked. Hope this helps, Dean
