Try holding down on the [Play] button or holding down on the POWER button to see if that turns off your player.

Coby MP-610 MP3 Player froze up wont turn off or connect to my computer

If it just froze up, there's a reset button at the back/bottom, I used a staple if a paperclip isnt available. The reset button did nothing to solve my problem of only getting a screen showing "COBY" but maybe it'll help you.

I was listening 2 music on it and it just froze up

Hi

You have to press the reset button for 10 sec, that should fix the problem.

The reset button is a small hole in the device, usually on the back or side, find something that fits the hole (not a needel's sharp end) and push it in and press for 10 sec.
This will probably erase all your music, but the player should work again.

If it still doesnt work take it bak to the dealer.

Sansa mp3 froze

IF the other solution doesnt work, you can try putting it into Recovery Mode, just to unfreeze it.

- Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds)
- Slide the hold switch into "hold" position.
- Press and hold the "record" button for a few seconds.

If you see Welcome to Recovery Mode, let go of the Record button and hold the power button to shut it off. Then restart it.

Best of Luck.
